There were a few things that made our experience at this restaurant unpleasant. First, we were looking for something to eat for lunch but knew that since it was early it was unlikely for us to find a place that was serving their lunch menu. That is why we asked the host prior to sitting whether they were only serving breakfast or if they were also serving lunch. She confirmed that they were also serving lunch not just breakfast so we sat down to order. We ordered two raspberry juices, one pizza, and one Cesar salad. The juices were alright. The pizza took forever to come and when the waitress noticed we were getting inpatient she came up to us and said it was almost done and explained that it was taking a while because the ovens were not on yet and that she had even gotten in trouble with the chef for putting in a pizza order this early. Once we received the pizza, the crust was super hard and the pizza got cold in a matter of seconds. It was hard to chew and the flavor was underwhelming. The salad was okay but the chicken was a bit dry. Maybe we got unlucky and were there too early which is why the service and food were lacking but based on this experience we will never be coming...
Read moreIf you order a schop beer here, you get a normal half litre like everywhere else.
I was here for an event yesterday. I like the place, and I've been here for dinner various times before, and the venue normally offers good quality and reasonable prices.
But in the event yesterday, they offer a promo "2x schop" at the price of 1.5 schop, with no further added note. Then you get a "small schop" (the 330 ml kind, known as a schopito everywhere in the country). I complained to the waiter and he acted as if this was a normal thing they do.
This is barely a promo, this is the normal price. This is misleading, the venue knows what they are doing here. Disgusting customer service practices.
And this changed in the last month, because we've been eating here various times before, and they had really reasonable (not excellent but fine) service and fine prices before.
I don't know what changed, but there's no way I'll go here for dinner again like this. This is just greedy and misleading, and I'd rather visit a place that respects...
