Loved this place! I went with my boyfriend on a sunday and it was the best indian food we've ever had. The restaurant is tiny, so in other times you probably need to make a reservation but it is absolutely worth it! Naresh, the owner, is very kind and explained perfectly how and what we should eat. He recommended 2 currys, 1 portion of rice and 1 portion on naan to make a complete meal, but you can always ask him if you are in doubt. We tried the samosas, the lamb curry, the butter chicken, rice with vegetables and butter naan and drank roses milk and a lemonade that had an indian name I couldn't pronounce. Everything was fresh, delicious and the right proportion. We walked out really full. The prices are similar to any restaurant so think about $32.000 (USD 47) for 2 people if you follow the recommendations. We stayed full for the rest of the evening and were very happy with the experience!...

6 out of 10 - @theveggiesloth on Instagram

We went to Donde Naresh for lunch around 15:30, we appreciate that it was open even when it was late for lunch.

We love South Indian food so we ordered masala dosa and palak paneer with the rice and naan.

We had good expectations as the place seemed to be managed by people from India. However, the palak paneer was cold so we could not fully enjoy it and something was missing in the flavour, it was just fine.

The naan was tasty but a little bit too cooked. Rice as well, was good but nothing special.

Finally the masala dosa, dosa was tasty but the potatoes inside were not the masala we were expecting, they were flavourless.

Atmosphere was nice, with Indian music but from time to time they have adds or the music stopped for a while.

I would not come back to Donde Naresh as quality of the food is not enough for the...

Went here on a Wednesday afternoon and got the small veg thali (poori, rice, dal, chole and laddu). Even though I enjoyed the food and the incredible ambience (Tamil music and art), I think the flavor left a lot to be desired. This is the only Indian restaurant I tried while in Santiago, so I'm not sure about the standard of food here, but I think they could do a little better with the flavor. Really friendly staff, quick service. :)

Amazing Indian restaurant in the centre of Santiago but what was most important was the service, talk to Ankush chakraborty and he will go beyond in a city where people are busy doing busy things and always anxious or in a rush, it’s an amazing restaurant, food is good and so is ambience and if you are craving for Indian food by Indians, this is it!! Go with a smile!! Going for dinner for the second time in same day!!
