Beautiful Setting, Good Service, But Food Could Be Improved

I recently visited Fontana and had a generally nice experience. The atmosphere is truly beautiful and the service was attentive and good throughout our meal.

The food, however, was a bit of a mixed bag. The beef dish we ordered was excellent and cooked perfectly. Unfortunately, the seafood and pasta dishes were disappointing. Both were overwhelmingly dominated by a butter sauce, which masked the natural, fresh flavours of the seafood itself. We were hoping for a more distinct seafood taste.
