It was raining quite heavily and so me and my friend decided to find a place to eat we opted for hotpot. Having searched all around we came across a place on the 1st floor of a small quiet plaza and decided to try it. There were a few tables already seated upon peeping inside.

We was shown to our table and my was the decoration grand and quite unique for a hotpot place with old chinese antique tables and chairs.

This is a pretty Instagram worthy place. They really know how to do presentation well with dramatic dry ice and smoky entrances and large over the top presentation. Food wise its not too bad, but a tad bit on the saltier side. The squid ink balls were too salty for my taste. The beef platter lets you try different parts of the animal, but there wasnt enough. With 3 people and 2 being girls we easily finished the platter and had to order other beef just to feel full.

It is really pricey for what it is. Yes the decorations and stuff is fancy, the owner or chef have put a lot of thought into the soup base with fancy pots. I would think it is still worthwhile to try it at least once to judge for yourself, but I have decided not to return as it doesn't live up to expectations. They charge a high premium on the beef but it was tasteless and only had a few slices, I would say gram for gram you can get a super expensive steak in a hotel steak house. The deep...
