Flaming Frango (Elements) — Restaurant in Hong Kong Island

I came looking for a nice, healthy dinner and walked away extremely satisfied. For those eating Paleo or Lower Carb, this place is heaven. They specialize in a marinated Piri Piri chicken, flame grilled to order. You can order a 1/4, 1/2, or whole chicken and can choose from a nice variety of sides.

The chicken, by itself is outstanding, falling off the bones, tangy, spicy, and delicious. However they go over the top by providing a 4 fresh, homemade sauces to accompany the meal. Spicy, Mint Coriander, Lime Ginger, and Fiery Hot. ALL are incredible and full of flavor. They put the meal over the top. I asked about the ingredients in the sauces because they are almost seemed to be mayo-base. They are made daily from all fresh ingredients and spices. There is no dairy and they are actually olive oil and vinegar-based, and are nicely emulsified.

Excellent Food! I came to this place with my two other friends and we ordered 2 Starters and three main courses. The food was served in perfect time, the presentation of the food was great and once we started our food it was just wow! The Piri piri Chicken was so tasty, tender and juicy! The Piri Piri sauce, Mint & Garlic sauce were just amazing! The original recipe. We had Chicken Croquettes, Quinoa Cakes as our starters and they were prepared so nicely! The portions were perfect and the most importantly the taste was delicious, we had full chicken with four sides of our choices (can choose your own choice of sides from the list) and we had a try on Chicken coconut curry and a Sweet & Spicy burger! The foods were amazing, very fresh and well presented! This kind of spot is just my jam, unique flavours with casual settings! I will definitely go there again as I assume there are lots of most try dishes on the list. I will have to give this place 5 Star...

Foods not the best I would say pretty average at most (unlike the pricing which is high compared to what you receive) and you're also forced to pay a 10% service charge (apparently this is some sort of Hong Kong law). Same kind of fast food burger a £5 one would get you in the Uk whereas I paid £16 + a service charge here because I ate in. Fries had seasoning on them served, I was not asked if I wanted them seasoned before ordering and there was no mention of this in the menu that they were going to be served as such, ended up not eating them as I like my chips bare. Waiters were good and I would say eating environment was nice but there may be the odd selfish person smoking and blowing the tobacco in to the restaurant which was also annoying and seems like it's allowed as staff don't care.
