Hazel & Hershey Coffee Roasters — Restaurant in Hong Kong Island

Do not buy any fellow products here (or maybe any other products). Bought a Fellow Stagg EKG and they basically ignored all my emails and messages on instagram (left me on read). I had some issues with the kettle and the H&H staff insisted that the unit was operating within spec. I contacted Fellow myself and Fellow agreed that the unit was defective, but I had to go through the retailer to get the issue resolved. I forwarded all the photos and messages from Fellow to Hazel and Hershey and they basically ghosted me. I've bought a bag of coffee from them every week for the last year but clearly they don't appreciate my business since they have not responded at all. A shame since their beans were good but they do not stand by their products.

Edit: To their latest reply, I disagreed with them and said my Kettle was NOT good, but I had no choice but to leave because they had refused to replace the kettle even though Fellow, the original manufacturer of the item already told me the item was defective. My unit did not show inaccurate temperature, but actually showed random lines and did not show any numbers on the display. I have actually still not received any email or replies from them and probably wouldn't have received a response if I didn't...

Coffee is good but owner or whoever manages their social media platforms is disrespectful and cannot take any criticisms (as you can see from other Google reviews).

I complained about the place not providing water for their customers (they only serve still or sparkling) even though I had my own water bottle. Even fancy restaurants provide the option of tap water. Needless to say, it is also not very eco-friendly for a coffee shop to serve only bottled Acqua Panna and S.pellegrino. The owner responded to my complaint: " When will people learn how to respect? Do we have to serve bubble tea too if you ask?"

Sad really- he could have handled the issue so much better simply by providing customers water in a jug like other coffee shops do. Good coffee isn't everything- you need good customer service too.
