Horrible Experience!

The manager, a Filipina named Janet (or Jenny), is very mean and unprofessional!

I couldn't be more disappointed. I have been coming to this restaurant since 2014, but since they changed their Philippine manager to someone new (Janet/Jenny) recently, everything has significantly deteriorated, especially the service.

When I ordered the cold platter, I found a hair in it. When I brought this to the attention of the manager, there was no apology. Instead, she immediately took my plate away and replaced it with a new one, but it was missing one type of ham. When I pointed this out, she took it back again. Upon returning, she loudly asked, "Is it okay?" There was no apology, just a disrespectful attitude.

Additionally, when I made a reservation for five people, we were given two small tables pushed together in a corner. Later, when two friends was running late, Janet rudely insisted that we remove one of the tables, forcing the three of us to squeeze into a small two-person table. We had to leave to another place with such uncomfortable treatment. Her behavior was sneaky and very disrespectful.

Lastly, Janet is dishonest. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with her service and asked to speak to the manager or owner, she claimed she was the owner. However, she doesn’t present herself as a decent and proper person. It wasn't until I asked a colleague that I learned she is certainly not the owner. What a shame!

This petty, mean, narrow-minded, and emotional manager running the restaurant really makes my friends and I feel ashamed of her. I'm certain I won't be bringing my friends here again. The previous managers were familiar with me; we would greet each other every time we met, and there was mutual respect...

Absolutely delicious Italian food. You won’t be disappointed! First, there is complimentary warm fresh table bread and bottles of olive oil and balsamic vinegar at each table you can use to dip the bread in. Super tasty!

We tried the clams, crispy squid, and cheese board as appetizers and all of them were delicious, high quality, and of a good portion. No complaints at all.

The prawn and avocado linguine was amazing!!! Definitely order it!

The baked Mostacioli was also delicious and tasted like lasagna but with a different noodle and super meaty with sausage and lots of cheese so if you are into baked cheese and meaty tomato pasta, this is for you! The risotto was great too! Tried the pussy foot cocktail and it was refreshing and fruity and went very well with the meal. Very impressed and would definitely return as everything tasted fresh, homemade, and delicious and the pasta was perfectly...

Simple new year’s eve dinner. The GF dining area was empty but the food took very long time. When the food arrived, my order was wrong. I ordered seafood risotto but got seafood linguine.

The carbonara was good, nothing special. The pasta could be more al dente. My seafood risotto was more like Chinese porridge. It’s more soup than creamy. Way over cooked the rice till soggy and if I’m not mistaken, it’s not any of the Italian rice varieties.

Service is nothing to speak of. She served us food and gives us water. Overall it’s a bit disappointing for our last meal of 2023. Maybe other dishes are good but we...
