One of the worst Michelin restaurants I ever tried in Hong Kong. Overall the food was just okay wasn’t impressive. What is the most disappointing was the poor service and attitude of the restaurant owner. The restaurant owner treat customer differently depending on how much you ordered. We order 2 plates of dishes to see whether we will like it or not. As it turn out the food wasn’t that good. We mainly came here for sweet and sour pork and it was just okay. To add salt to the wound, the older gentleman who is the owner was pointing his finger at our table, telling the staff to clear off our plate. We just finished dishes only few second. It is obvious that he wanted us out of the restaurant as soon as possible. We can actually noticed his intention before we get to finish our meal. If we like the food we would have order more or if you treat us nicely by suggesting other menu we might wanted to try. We just ask for the check as we not feeling welcome. This restaurant is so rude. By the way the table next to us was being treated very well by the owner’s son. Nice small talked, taking picture for guests, giving suggesting. Non of that with us. The apple doesn’t fall far...

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! Experienced what could be the rudest service I had in my life. Well we didn't quite even get there really. The person was presumably the owner and once we walked in, he simply stared at us. We said that we had a reservation and he then said that we were more than 15 minutes late (we were indeed so but was 3 more than said 15). Instead of being accommodating, he berated us for being late, and said he called the hotel to demand where we were, and even said the hotel said it was ok to cancel the reservation since we were late. Upon checking with the hotel, the true story was more that he called, and when the hotel said to give us more time, he simply hung up on them abruptly. When we wanted to leave, he just went on about his restaurant has strict policies and how diners should be punctual, all in a haughty, unfriendly, contemptuous and condescending tone. And this is us understanding Cantonese so I can't imagine what he would say to those who don't. I don't care how good one's food can be but when this is the first impression given, no food is ever good enough for one to...

Worth Michelin Stars for decades

Finding a Cantonese/ Chinese restaurant that maintains high quality standards over a decade is quite a challenge in Hong Kong, but Pang’s Kitchen has consistently delivered. This small, family-run Cantonese restaurant is a must-try for anyone seeking authentic Hong Kong Cantonese cuisine.

The Lotus root cake and taro rolls are outstanding with affordable price. The sweet and sour pork with strawberry is one of their signature dishes that you may not miss. While sweet and sour pork is a really common dish in Hong Kong, from “Cha Chaan Teng” to five-star hotels, but no-one can do it better than Pang’s Kitchen.

The fried chicken may seem simple, but it’s incredibly fresh and crispy . I wanted to reorder it immediately. The boneless Crispy Chicken wing stuffed with glutinous rice is so yummy and it is one of the Must try dishes.

The staffs are friendly and keep the service standard even they are busy. I definitely will visit again and try the...

If you're looking for a delicious Chinese meal in Happy Valley, look no further than Pang's Kitchen. Despite its small size - with only enough room for 10 tables - this restaurant packs a big punch when it comes to flavor. One of the standout dishes on the menu is the sweet and sour pork. The balance of sweet and tangy flavors is perfect, and the pork itself is cooked to crispy perfection. Another must-try dish is the stuffed chicken wing with sticky rice inside. This dish is a real standout, with the tender and juicy chicken wing stuffed with perfectly cooked sticky rice. The combination of flavors and textures is truly unique and satisfying. Overall, I had a great dining experience at Pang's Kitchen. The food was delicious and the attentive service made me feel welcome. If you're looking for a tasty Chinese meal in Happy Valley, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.
