As soon as we walked up the stairs to Ruam, we were greeted by the warm, inviting vibe that instantly made us feel at home. General Manager Jeff Chui welcomed us with a genuine smile that set the tone for our evening.

Initially, we planned to just grab one drink, but once we sank into the lively atmosphere, we couldn’t resist. The cocktails were incredible—each one a delicious blend of flavors that kept us wanting more. It was clear we were in for a treat!

The service was top-notch. Jeff and his team were attentive and friendly, making sure we felt taken care of without being overbearing. Our server had great recommendations and always stopped by with a smile, enhancing our experience even further.

As we enjoyed our drinks, (try the buckets for a bit of fun) we decided to extend our visit and dive into Ruam’s mouthwatering Thai dishes. Every plate was a burst of flavor, beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. It was impossible not to share our excitement with Jeff and the staff, who clearly loved what they did.

Throughout the night, Jeff checked in on us, ensuring everything was just right. His warmth, humour and professionalism made us feel like VIPs. We ended up losing track of time, happily missing our prior engagement to soak in the amazing food, drinks, and atmosphere.

I never write reviews, but genuinely, our evening at Ruam was a delightful journey filled with great vibes and even better service. If you’re looking for a place where you feel like family, look no further. We can’t wait to come back and create more unforgettable memories...

Ruam has been on my list for a while. The environment is very nice with indoor, outdoor and terrace seating. The food and service is quite understanding. 4 of us ordered grilled pork neck, tom yum kung with shrimp, crab meat omelette, Thai kale rice noodles and mango sticky rice and cocktails, because we arrived before 7 so we can enjoy the happy hour. Among the food, my favourite is the omelette. It is loaded with crab meat and it is very fragrant and tastes fresh. The egg is fluffy and smells really good. Pork neck and tom yum are also perfect. They doesn’t taste like those that are being served in the normal Thai restaurants in hk. The pork is not greasy at all and I can taste the meaty flavour in it. The tom yum is very generous because there are more than 10 shrimps and the soup is spicy but not too coconut-y. The rice noodles are not as good as the other dishes. Too salty and too sweet, and also too soft. To finish everything off, mango sticky rice is a good choice. Cold mango with warm rice and coconut sauce, perfect as an ending. We ordered 3 cocktails, buy one get one free. All are very good and pairs well with Thai dishes. I recommend visiting here for Thai food as it is cozy, spacious and you can chat for a...

I'm second visit this restaurant, 1st time my friend bring me here for lunch, delicious, so again visit, today dinner. I like Environment is comfortable, relaxing.I like having meal  in a lot of plant environment. On the other hand, both sitting area & washroom are clean. A France friend told me , washroom is clean can imagine Kitchen cleaniness, too. We ordered Tom Yum Kung soup, crab omelette, pork skewers, pork neck & banana roti, etc Tom Yum Kung soup is tasty, just a little bit more spicy than my own less spicy level, a lot of shrimp than among Thai restaurant, I like both skewer & new pork neck, too. Pork meat keep juicy & fresh. In addition, crab omelette, egg good, with quite lot of crab meat insides. Finally, even we both are full, since I heard another comment dessert banana roti comment delicious, so we ordered, too. Seriously good ! Concunut icecream as fresh as I taste in Thailand. I saw several table celebrate Birthday due to... I think because there is a surprise to Birthday friend ! Overall great! Whether service, the taste & food quality & environment, cleaniness. I will invite my boss buy the dinner for...

A resto chosen by my friend, and went here tgt with another friend as well to celebrate her end of semester. . We ordered Yum Woon Sen, Pad Kee Mao Nuea and Banana Roti to share. For Yum Woon Sen, it consisted of glass noodle salad with tiger prawns, fresh squid and minced pork. The salad was refreshing and the squid was chewy. It would be more memorable if the dish could be more savoury. For Pad Kee Mao Nuea, it contained stir-fried flat rice noodles with Australian grass-fed beef. The dish smelled aromatic becoz of its wok hei. The beef was tender. The portion of the dish could be more generous though. The Banana Roti must be the most impressive dish. With coconut ice cream, the pancake was hotly-served and crispy. The banana combined the sweetness of the sauce and ice cream subtly, and we even encored this dish. Thanks to my friend's dream, we got to have this dessert 🤣. . If your bday was on that day, they would even offer u a sparkling candle when u order dessert. The whole scene was really memorable🤣. . The resto is semi-open, so it may be quite hot if u go there during Summer. Food was a bit pricey.
