Decor8 Modern Furniture Wanchai — Local services in Hong Kong

Ordered a wooden display set and the corners were all chipped. When we emailed them the next day, they questioned why we didn't complain on the day it arrived and insinuated that we damaged it ourselves. After that insulting remark, they finally agreed to replace the board, promising to deliver within 2 weeks. Well, 2 weeks and counting and still no replacement. Called them repeatedly over it and still nothing. Terrible quality, abysmal service.

Update: So after I posted this review, a lady called me and promised the replacement will be delivered as soon as possible. She also insisted that I remove this review even though what I wrote was my own experience and my personal opinion. If I felt insulted, then I did. Whether that was your staff's intention to do so is totally irrevelant.

Your claim that the replacement arrived within 2 weeks "& a few extra days" is factually not true. The original delivery was on 22nd July and the replacement arrived on 17th August, which is almost a month later. This is an objective fact and trying to minimise this to a few extra days is irresponsible and misleading. Replacing a damaged item, regarding of whether the damage happened before or during the delivery process, is a standard service with any furniture shop. Not sure what this is considered "added value service".

Bought a sofa and bar stools with Decor8. The Sofa quality is poor. There is no support due weak springs and all the cushions lost shape quickly. The legs on the sofa damaged the floor in my apartment by leaving a ring imprint. The bar stools were different from what i ordered but altered to look like what i ordered.

I feel cheated out of my money by decor8, you'll be better of buying straight from Taobao, I'm quite sure you'll get exactly the same product anyway.

I’ve been shopping here for at least 5 years now as well as a handful of these places. All in all I would have to say this places is the most comprehensive furniture shop in hk. Their huge online store is complimented by two showrooms, one in Wanchai and one in Mong Kok making it extremely convenient for me as I work in Admiralty and live in Kowloon. If I want to browse stuff in their showroom In Wanchai i can literally hop on over during lunch and it is great for picking up small items. The place is very down to earth and calm.
