As others say, it is quite pricey -- but the organization and customer service makes up for the big hike in price. You can find pretty much any electronic device here, ranging from small USB travel chargers and adapters to hunking screens and portable monitors (only one store that sells portable monitors and charged 30% more than they should have, even with a highly negotiated price). I think most vendors don't cut their prices very much, so don't expect a great deal here; rather, it seems like an easily accessible area for foreigners to purchase electronics in Hong Kong. Some deals can be scavenged by perusing demo units and asking to buy stray units (had an offer for 20HKD for a keyboard, which is decent). But if you want to find cheap electronics, your best bet is to cross the border to Shenzhen where you can find prices for actually reasonable prices. Better yet, if you're not up for the travel, go online and purchase from aliexpress, GearBest, coolcool, or an international shipper and save yourself the hassle of shipping your goods back home. Ultimately, this building offers a convenient way to offer highly-priced novelty electronic goods, but if you're looking for the good deals,...
Read moreWARNING - Avoid a shop here called WG!
The mall in itself is hit and miss. My advice to you is to get a recommendation from a friend for a reputable shop. I went to a TERRIBLE repair shop called WG. Firstly, they 'fixed' my macbook but didn't check it when they installed a new hard drive, I was in a rush so couldn't check it myself but when I got home it didn't work so I had to come back to the store. They had to fix it AGAIN.
Secondly, when I got my Macbook, it was evident that they used an old hard drive to replace the one that burned out because now it is very SLOW.
Thirdly at the same time as fixing my Macbook, they also 'fixed' my Sony smartphone. They lost the sim card tray and claimed it was 'already missing' when I gave it to them which was a blatant lie, anyway they ordered a new one but the cover is missing for the tray. When I went to use the Sony phone after getting it 'fixed' guess what?! It doesn't work! I cannot hear anyone on the phone so cannot make phone calls.
AVOID WG AT ALL COSTS!...
Read moreYes you can find everything but the price varies Depends if you know Chinese language or not Tourists are not welcome here Or they will triple the price Small tiny shops Yes everything available but they don't have the art for selling to tourists which something I didn't expect You can buy most all major brand names here including Apple, Dell, Lenovo, Sony and so on and so on. That said, as I have mentioned in other posts, international warranties can be a grey area, be sure you get the right receipts and do some pre-purchase research. You can also find an official Dell Experience Centre located here where you can try out their new products, if they have stock, you can also buy from them. There are several other company official stores and official dealers here including HP, BenQ, Canon, Avita, ViewSonic, Wacom, Aztech, Synology, Linksys, Audeze, Fujitsu and many more. As for prices when buying from the stalls, don’t be afraid to haggle and have your smartphone in hand to compare prices/features...
