decor is great, place is clean. Food is mediocre. my partner ordered the sushi and it was decent.
sukiyaki: it was pretty bad - too sweet and everything just felt weird. normally you get a raw egg to dip your beef in but the egg came soft pouched. Normally you can order rice with the sukiyaki but this place doesnt even have rice! they said they only had sushi rice which is lukewarm rice with vingear seasoning. The beef was nice but that was the only good part. seafood soup: not sure how they expected me to drink it since they didnt give me a bowl or spoon and the soup was in a teapot. Soup was ok but a bit salty. What annoyed me a bit was the prawn- I think they tried to remove the shell and leave only the shell on the end of the tail which is what restaurants normally do, but when i bit into the body (where there shouldnt be any shell), there were massive pieces of shell! steamed egg: not nice and definitely didnt have as many toppings as the image on the menu .
service wasnt too bad. they constantly checked to see if we had enough tea and kept refilling it.
Conclusion: anything raw is ok. anything cooked is a massive...

She simply placed the platter down, pushing aside the tea and plates already on the table to make room, nearly spilling a hot cup of tea in the process. Additionally, the communication style could have been a bit more polished to match the overall vibe of the restaurant.
It’s a great place overall, and with some improvement in the service, it could be...
Read moreAs I grow older, I would sometimes prefer staying in to enjoy some tranquil time. Instead of visiting restaurants packed with people and with marked up Valentine’s Day sets, getting some good quality Japanese sushi and sashimi might be a good alternative.
Senryo has launched a Valentine’s Day takeout menu, which included all our favorites in one set. Our favorites were the generous amount of uni filled with so much sweetness and umami. The toro sashimi and and sushi were also deliciously melt-in-the-mouth tender, while the flounder was full of fish oil. The followings were included: 🍣Sushi Platter with 10 kinds of sushi, 2 each 🍣Sashimi Platter with 5 kinds of sashimi 🍣Salmon Avocado Salad with salmon roe
