I wanted to reach out and share my comprehensive review of the incredible dining experience I had at your establishment. From start to finish, it was a truly memorable occasion.
First and foremost, the ambiance of the restaurant was absolutely outstanding. The moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted by a super amazing vibe that set the perfect tone for our celebration. The decor, lighting, and overall atmosphere were all carefully curated to create a captivating and inviting space.
Now, let's talk about the food. Your commitment to delivering authentic Spanish cuisine truly shone through in every dish. The flavors were exquisite, and each bite transported me to the streets of Spain. The menu boasted a wide array of classic options, allowing us to indulge in traditional favorites while also discovering new and exciting flavors. It was a culinary adventure that left us all thoroughly impressed.
What made the experience even more remarkable was the exceptional value of your lunch set. Not only did we have the opportunity to savor the most delectable dishes, but the pricing was also incredibly reasonable. The quality and quantity of the food we received exceeded our expectations, making it an unbeatable choice for a satisfying midday meal.
I must also commend your staff for their impeccable service. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. Throughout the course of our meal, the staff members were attentive, knowledgeable, and always ready to assist us. Their dedication to ensuring our dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary truly made a lasting impression.
However, I would be remiss if I didn't mention one minor aspect that could be improved. The table we were seated at was a bit small for our group, which made it slightly challenging to comfortably accommodate all of our dishes and belongings. While this did not significantly detract from the overall experience, it is worth noting as a potential area for enhancement.
In conclusion, I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional dining experience we had at your restaurant. The combination of the amazing ambiance, authentic Spanish food, extensive menu options, excellent value for the lunch set, and helpful staff made it an occasion to remember. I have no doubt that I will be returning in the near future and recommending your establishment to friends, family,...
Read moreWhere do I start? ..Upon arriving to the restaurant, there was no one by the reception despite many staff around the floor while doing a ‘birthday’ move. I waited at least 5 minutes and even looked around and been ignored even they saw me. I was finally greeted with the person in charge to bring guests to their table with a smile! Finally feeling welcomed.
I was seated on their upper floor, interior of the restaurant is beautiful and love the on-brand design. Went for their brunch menu. Food was good, i just wished their cold cut platter portion could be a bit better. Menu was a little confusing under their Seafood Paella which states for two people even when I have ordered two types of Tapas. Just note that we ordered before their last call (tapas + desserts).
We waited for the other tapas dish to arrive which was the Wagyu Beef. Upon checking up on it with the staff, the lady informed us that they have already done their last call and the kitchen is closed. It would have been nice if they could have clearly explained to me beforehand that choosing the Seafood Paella is considered one to share as I assumed it was a portion for two. I also ordered the free-flow add on but, no one was topping up on our free flow drinks or even considered asking if we would like to have another round. When I did asked, the staff told me she will ask her manager as there was already a last call. And even jokingly said that they close soon (at 4pm) and they needed to eat too. Like okay? I feel apologetic for bothering the restaurant as a guest. I understand the staff needs their lunch break too but informing a guest that doesn’t make the dining experience better. If you don’t want your guests to stay until 4pm then I suggest to please fix your SEVENROOMS booking time for your restaurant.
Overall, food was good by standard. Chocolate mousse was delicious. Manchego’s cheesecake was quite sour. Not sure what happened there but usually suppose to have that balanced taste between the cream cheese and sugar but this one was a no.
Girly took care of our table in the beginning and was very pleasant and accommodating. After a while we just had other staff...
Read moreLoved the food here — and the service matched it beautifully. Every dish arrived swiftly and piping hot, as it should in a bustling Spanish kitchen.
The unexpected highlight of the meal was the Espárragos verdes a la parrilla — grilled green asparagus imbued with deep, smoky intensity. The pairing with their version of a romesco sauce and juice from a wedge of lemon was nothing short of divine; the brightness of citrus lifted the earthy char of the asparagus into something quietly spectacular.
Close behind was the Huevos rotos con jamón. A golden bed of thin, shatteringly crisp potatoes, crowned with a perfectly runny egg and slices of well-cured jamón. Whether enjoyed separately or all together in one forkful, every bite was a study in texture and balance — simple ingredients elevated by impeccable execution.
The Pan con tomate was pure joy: ripe, juicy tomato purée bursting with flavour atop bread that was both crazy airy and beautifully crusted. It’s the kind of dish that reminds you how the simplest things, done right, can sing the loudest.
The Calamar a la plancha was another success — tender yet firm squid, charred just enough to develop that essential smokiness. A touch of salsa verde gave it lift and brightness, completing a dish that was both rustic and refined.
The Tortilla Española was classic in form and spirit: soft and slightly runny at its core, the potatoes yielding and sweet. A gentle note of what seemed like picual olive oil ran through it, giving the dish depth and aroma. The aioli on the side added a bold, garlicky creaminess that transformed each bite into something new.
The Gambas al ajillo transported us straight back to Spain — sizzling, aromatic, and perfectly seasoned. No complaints, just satisfaction.
Whilst the Croquetas de jamón were the most familiar to us of the lot — creamy and well-fried — it was somewhat outshone by the brilliance of the other dishes.
At about HKD 850 for two, the meal felt like excellent value for food of such authenticity and quality.
This is a kitchen that understands respect for great ingredients, and the quiet art of Spanish cooking — honest, soulful, and...
