Wagyu Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Hong Kong Island

Wagyu Lounge serves a set of four mini-burgers and garlic fries with a special lemon dip as a part of their happy hours meal deal. I was hungry and it sounded tempting.

I ended up ordering this 200HKD worth meal deal of possibly the worst burgers and fires I have ever tried. Not quite sure what went wrong—whether it was the cold buns or overdoing the medium-rare patty I ordered, or perhaps the tasteless orange cheese. The burgers were upsetting, both for me and my stomach. The garlic fries made it even worse. They’ve had a pleasant crunch, but have also been dripping with fat, and the garlic-lemon combination was making me sick. I’ve paid, leaving the meal unfinished to grab a can of coke from 7/11 and counteract my immediate indigestion.

The place is also lacking any kind of vibe and the way it’s arranged reminds me more of a bar than a restaurant.

This is part of the Castelo concepts group, and I though the quality would at least be reasonable, so I took a punt on it. If you review this and give more then 2 stars , then you need to visit MacDonalds less. Aircon didn't work, so you will sweat you time there. Great Deal in Happy Valley! My friend and I went to enjoy their promotion i.e. 2 mains for the price of 1 - this is a great deal where we could choose any 2 dishes from their extensive menu (pasta, meat, pizza) - we had crab meat pasta and fish & chips. Fish & chips was one of the best I've had - fish was juicy and batter was not too thick; the fat chips were crispy but soft on the inside, served with some salad. Crab meat pasta was a bit fishy and on the salty side, some of the pasta was not cooked through (hope they can improve on this soon).
