Bamboo Thai (Tsuen Wan) — Restaurant in Hong Kong

Expensive for lunch sets for very ordinary food, the presentation of the food is great thats about it, not the taste. Service was very slow, took over 20 minutes to get our main dishes. Biggest joke was the drinks with the lunch set, which states drink included tea/coffee or plus 12 dollars for Sodas!! Turns out the Sodas don't refer to coke etc, for coke you have to pay 38 dollars !!! Sodas refers to their soda mixes with fruits which in the menu costs 48 dollars. I reasoned with them isnt it cheaper to offer me a coke which is 38 dollars in your menu than the 48 dollars soda! but no they did not see the logic in that and flat out refused.

Fancy restaurant, poor service, average food and over priced, left still...

Flavors are well suited for locals, hence the dishes are not at spicy as authentic thai food. They have a variety of dishes, price is reasonable and portion size is decent. ($150-200/person)

Mountain rib bones was slightly different to what you get in Thailand which was a bit disappointing, it was more sour than spicy. We ordered the small but the portion was pretty big and there was a lot of meat already. The other dishes overall was good and better...

The food was not hot enough that it turned cold very quickly under strong A/C. The staff was generally not very helpful and quite impolite in a way when wrong items were delivered, quibbling that it was my mistake during ordering.
