Choi Kee Fried Crab Restaurant — Restaurant in Hong Kong

We were looking for a place for late night gathering (11pm-2am) and found this place where you could also sit outdoor. I was the only one eating so I didn’t order the crab and I over heard the table next to us ordered a crab for $1300 😱 Well anyway the food was amazing, the morning glory veg with “chinese cheese” was so good. Clams with black bean sauce... so juicy, fresh and sweet, must be one if the best I’ve had so far. Prawns with soy sauce was a surprised too... I cannot stop eating them. Finally the steam razor clam with garlic and glass noodle was a bit disappointed. I think they have over cooked it and it was very chewy.

Overall the taste of all dishes were really good and together with beers and drinks it cost us around seven hundred something HKD. Little pricey but it was worth it for the taste and freshness of the seafood. I will definitely be...

What a gem of a find, although by no means a cheap eat if you want to try the chilli crab, but I can't comment on the cost elsewhere as I didn't need to go anywhere else. Went in there solo and they suggested a small crab and a side of aubergine. Aubergine was delicious which I ate till the crab arrived. The crab was far from small and it came in a mountain of excellently spiced fried garlic and spring onions. Being an absolute novice with seafood I asked for some direction but Yee (the serve that speaks great English) basically took it on herself to crack the crab open and extract the meat while I ate and ensured I ate it properly! We three people got a frightened experience that night. At begining, we looked forward to eat the crab in 財記 that was suggested by local taxi driver.
