Unfortunately, as far as the shopping center design is concerned, any triangular piece of land is not a good use of space and on top the designer never appreciate how to articulate human scale and space penetration, if you go in and experience what is the architectural merit, other than escalator wells and the only tiny voids in the tower, it is an empty statement. Of course, the giving up the land at the triangular sector as a dedicated to public area helps the formation of the entrance, in return, the developer has taken the bonus of plot ratio as extra areas in the tower. I hope, sincerely hope and wishing developers in Hong Kong when they try to design building projects with historically importance, the new design and evolution of the new building must pay considerations of sentimental value and historical impacts. The Lee Theatre Plaza is a shopping (not cinema) venue and part of the Lee Gardens properties which you will find clustered together in Causeway Bay just south of the MTR Station. This is a 26 storey tower with quite a few restaurants found on the upper floors while the bottom 4 floors and basement levels are used for retail space and casual food & drink outlets.

You'll find far fewer shops here compared to the other Lee Garden properties. UNIQLO takes up the basement and ground floor levels while MUJI uses up the 3rd and 4th floors. Probably 10-12 other small retailers focusing on hair products, cosmetics and related shops along with take-away tea, fast-food and food court like eateries are sandwiched in between on the 1st and 2nd floor.
