An "Awesome Skyline"- at Night & Day!! When I first visited HK in 1969 the "skyline" was barely evident. Now there are about 9,000+ high rise buildings, all against the backdrop of the nearby mountains-- one of the most stunning building complex is Central Plaza and the buildings on the shores of Victoria Harbour. It is also amazing to see the coordinated evening "light show" demonstrated by 44 buildings on Victoria Harbour (which has been recognized by the "Guinness Book of Records). Perhaps the best views can be readily accessed by riding the Star Ferry-- Day or Night! TripAdvisor has justly awarded it the "Certificate of Excellence". It is much more than "memorable"!

For tourists, a fun activity here is to take the lift up to the 46th floor to the Sky Lobby which is free to access. From here you can walk around the entire floor and enjoy 360 degree views of HK Island, Kowloon Peninsula and Victoria Harbour. When air quality and sky conditions are favourable, this is a really fun activity to do if you are in...
Read moreExcellent view from the 46th floor of the building. However, the view is different from the view from The Peak (see other peoples' photos). The place is near Wan Chai or Exhibition Centre mtr and the star ferry. If you do not have time or do not want to go to The Peak. You may consider visiting here. Note that 46th floor does not open to public on Sunday.
Tips for Travelers: It’s highly recommended to opt for hotels or hostels in other areas rather than the overpriced and poorly maintained hostels (often misrepresented as hotels) found in the dilapidated mansions of the...
