Varga Lounge — Restaurant in Hong Kong

My husband was introduced to this place several months back, and suggested I would like it, too. I flew in, and the group invited me out with him last Friday

I can count on one hand the number of times I've walked into a bar/lounge and been greeted right away while being ushered to a table. Staff at Vargas are absolutely amazing, friendly, patient, and I can't help but be reminded of the TV show Cheers where they know the names of their regulars

Lychee martinis are kind of my drink these days and I ended up having two that night. They were delicious! We also shared a couple of small plates of food, and those were equal in quality.

I'm hoping my husband and his group continue to come here because I'll be looking forward to it during my upcoming trips when I visit him.

The place is warm and cozy. They have calm and soothing music playing in the background. The bar has 2 levels, the upper one being more quieter which is good for hanging out with your friends and families. The drinks are delicious and well priced especially around happy hours. The best bar in Hong Kong, if not the world. Suren is awesome, his team is awesome, and they truly make every guest feel like family. It's got 50+ cocktails on the Happy Hour menu and every single one of them is strong, delicious and insanely cheap (special mention to the passionfruit martini, you'll always have a place in my heart).
