We recently had the pleasure of visiting venture for a family photo shoot, and we couldn't be happier with the entire experience. From start to finish, the studio provided us with exceptional service, professionalism, and stunning results.

We came across Venture Studios from our dogcation at Alva Hotel in Sha Tin - the package came with a coupon and when we saw it - we thought why not?

So we scheduled a month in advance. Our previous experience with a photoshoot for our dog had scenes and props - unfortunately Venture Studios is not like that, where they recommend you to bring your own belongings. The results are more closeup and there’s a lot of post-production involved, such as adding lighting to the background, touching up faces, etc. There’s a great deal of creativity, which we witnessed first-hand with the scripting and post-arrangement of our photos to fit their products, particularly collections that go into a single frame.

Anyway, our experience at Venture Studios with photographer Kris was fun to say the least! Awkward at the start given it’s not often we go to a photo studio - Kris did call us a few days before the shoot, but we wonder if the call could have come a bit sooner to help us prepare. Also, rather than tell us the rundown of what to expect, we had to ask - something worth considering to tell people upfront especially for those who are coming for the first time. During the shoot, Kris made us and our pet Peanut feel at ease, giving us clear direction to capture unique, personal moments. The final photos reflected our personalities and the special bond we share with Peanut. We highly recommend Kris for anyone seeking a memorable and high-quality photoshoot.

Pricing is definitely on the top-end of the spectrum, so if you are willing to splurge a little, this place will give you that high quality. There were a lot of products generally beyond our budget, but the staff managed to help us find an option that didn’t blow up the bank and actually would fit...

Our journey began with arranging a one-hour photo session. Laura, our talented photographer, personally reached out to us days before the shoot. She was so thoughtful, asking about our outfit choices and whether any family or friends would be joining us. Her attention to detail really put us at ease, and we felt super confident about the arrangements for our big day.

On the day itself, Laura was bursting with energy and made the whole process of having our pictures taken a breeze. She created such a harmonious atmosphere that we felt like we were at a party. It was an absolute blast!

A week later, we viewed the photos and boy, were they stunning! Dave was so patient with us as we excitedly looked through the pictures. The whole experience was so relaxed and fun, especially with a cup of coffee in hand. We ended up purchasing an album to remember this wonderful experience.
