Délifrance (Hong Kong International Airport) — Restaurant in Islands District

No smiling faces. Nobody welcomes. One attendant serving behind counter another staring at papers. Interrupted Joseph and asked if I can order at table. Said I can order on mobile at table or at counter and pay. Asked for a croissant and cream cheese and jam. Told me I must order a sandwich. Said I did not want a sandwich I wanted a croissant. No cream cheese the other lady says. He again says sandwich. I very slowly ask for a croissant and jam and butter. Asked what jam. He’s attention was elsewhere and obviously I was irritating him. Asked lady loudly what jam. Eventually got her attention and ordered the croissant and large americano. Joseph shook his head in irritation. I honestly don’t believe I was being rude and no reason for him to do so. He was more interested in his paperwork. . Sat at table. Was served coffee in a takeaway cup. Sent it back to put in a mug. Why do things always have to be made so complicated. This is an international airport. Service is awful and I try not to post negative stuff but Hong Kong airport which I travel through regularly this year has lost the good old fashioned service and friendliness....

Dreadful awful place to eat. Ordered a pizza and asked if I wanted it hot or cold. I said hot but asked would it be made fresh as in not the 2 pieces of pizza left out on the counter which looked stale. The guy at the counter said no it would be freshly made. Minutes later the waitress slammed down the two pieces of bread on the table combining my friends bread for his soup on my plate. I asked who the bread was for she ignored me. Pizza hard and burned. No napkins. No cutlery. I walked up to speak to waiter and said I was unhappy with the food and service He laughed and said thanks for feedback. I said I didn't get a pizza and paid £10, chops provided 10 mins after pizza, my friends soup cool, not even offered butter with his soup and piled onto my plate. I said I want this raised and a response from the manager. They ignored me. The waiter didn't utter a word to use serving either. Awful awful place with terrible customer service and people who treat you like dirt....

I only ordered an almond pastry and cold milk tea here. The pastry was filled with almond paste. It was really yummy. The cold milk tea was very tasty as well. This place has almost everything minus the kitchen sink. U can buy sandwiches, pastries, cookies, teas, chips, pizzas, yogurt, burritos, candy and drinks. If u r planning to catch a flight to the US, u will drink your drink quickly since u will need to pass a second security in which beverages are not allowed. I wish I had known this b4 I had made...
