Thai Chang House — Restaurant in Kowloon

We didn’t order spicy and chill food but we still managed to order a table full of dishes. The taste of the food is not particularly good, but it is not bad either.

What makes us angry is the service. We were never informed that they was actually a time limit for dining. All of a sudden, some waiter came and asked us to literally stop talking and eat faster because some other people are waiting outside.

We thought it is absolutely not ok not because we were asked to leave as soon as possible, but in fact we were never noticed for such time limit. Had somebody from the restaurant informed us there was such a time limit, we would have had our deserved right to choose whether we dine at this restaurant.

And in this case, we felt regretful dining tonight because we expected to have some chat while dining, and we would have packed any other restaurant with no time limit and similar food quality, if not better, especially that there are still a lot of Thai food restaurants...

Al most two years since i haven't been back. Food standard is still up to par. It was only me n my wife but we still couldn't hold back and we have ordered a salad, curry crab, skewers and fried centuary egg. The salad is very fresh. The curry crab had plenty of sauce which you need to order a garlic bread to enjoy. Although the curry sauce was flavorful, but you still can taste the freshness of the crab and the crab meat is firm. The skewers the taste is there but the pork skewers are on the dry side. The beef skewers are spot on, nice and juicy. You can't go wrong with the fried centuary egg. We had to take away a few things including the curry crab sauce too. So it was very fulfilling night and we wouldn't consider anywhere...

Surprisingly authentic find along South Wall Road at Kowloon City. We had a great Pomelo salad as an appetizer, packs a powerful punch with its tangy-ness and sweetness all in one bite! Prawn cakes were nice, not over-fried and had a light springy texture. The pork in green curry was perfect! The curry was smooth and fragrant, pork was tender but perhaps could do with more flavor. We had the Tom Yum Soup, and started on it even before we could take a picture! Spiciness was right on the dial and it's a great rendition of this all time...
