Chung Kee Dessert — Restaurant in Kowloon

I feel sorry for myself being here.

Since I wanna try new restaurant I skipped Harbour Dessert nearby and that’s my worst experience this week. Staff won’t even care when you get in. Their eyes clearly said “mind your own business.” Should have got the sign and walk away right on spot. Even worse, they don’t even know the flavours of rice ball they are providing, don’t care to check with others, only making the face as if I’m wasting her time while I’m trying to order.

I need to tell another staff 3 time for what I want to order, even pointing exactly on her ordering device, she just keep nodding and going to serve other table. Clearly not listening.

As you can see on the receipt, because all the staff were so reluctant to get what I’m ordering, it literally took them 3 times to get my order right. Not until another 10 minute I got my plain almond soup and tofu flower mixture serving with egg custard rice ball. The almond soup is the most flavourless I’ve ever had; tofu flower got no texture and no taste; egg custard rice balls were over cooked and not enough stuffing. Taste like wax.

Strongly discourage whoever trying to visit this place. Do not hesitate to leave this place immediately.

Edit: when further checking menu they even listed the items they don’t serve. I mean...

The staff with short colored hair is so racist and rude. the dessert may be good but if your staff is like that then nevermind. wouldn't recommend this to anyone since that...

Good price. Authentic traditional Cantonese dessert. Love the black sesame soup mied with tofu. Sweetness is about right....
