Cupping Room (West Kowloon) — Restaurant in Kowloon

Quite a disappointing experience at the Cupping Room. Ordered a salad that was supposed to have edamame, seaweed, cucumbers and greens. Received a plate full of greens, can’t even see any other ingredients. Asked to replace the salad with something else. The waiter, who also claimed to be the manager, had the worst attitude. He poked through the salad to find two edamame at the bottom and said that he wouldn’t replaced it or provide a refund as in his opinion the salad was good. I’m going to post a picture of the salad and would challenge you to find any seaweed, edamame or cucumber. Just a plate of grass. Would not be back and would not recommend the place. Horrible...

Visited with friends today. No indoor tables available, so we sat outside. The view was incredible, but that's where the positives end.

Service was disappointing. We ordered dirty coffee and toast, but were shocked to receive paper cups and plastic cutlery - as if we'd ordered takeaway. When questioned, staff claimed they use disposables outside because customers had broken real cups before. This policy seemed ridiculous, especially since we only sat outside due to lack of indoor seating.

The food quality didn't impress either. The coffee tasted instant, and the toast wasn’t good.

Despite the stunning view, the poor service and subpar food make it unlikely...

A great place to have a coffee/lunch by the sea. The location is really great, you can enjoy your coffee, read a book, chat with friends and relax. I had the salad with the smoked salmon. The amount of smoked salmon in the salad was really good. It was super delicious. I requested the dressing on the side. However, I ended up eating all of it. It was super delicious and very well balanced mixture of acidity and sweetness, coming from balsamic I believe. This is my go to place when I visit west...
