I ordered their Set Lunch for One and added a plate of the steamed Rice Roll. Worse service at this restaurant time and time again. Even if it were Michelin 3 stars food wouldn’t be worth your time. Even the management has its head in the clouds because most clientele are a captive audience (because it’s located inside the Palace Museum). It’s unfortunate because food isn’t bad, it has an ok decor but with cha chan tang (VERY BAD fast food service). There were only 9 small tables of guests. It wasn’t busy. The dishes were not put in front of guests but at the side of the table far from the guest… starting from the first course! The food became cold very quickly because multiple courses were brought out at once and if I didn’t ask them to stop bringing out all the courses(set lunch $398) at once, my whole table would’ve been covered with dishes. It took over 30 minutes to get a requested dish of salty soy sauce ( even after making request again from the restaurant manager L). The waiter named H is speaking very loudly so the whole restaurant can hear through his walkie talkie and kills any ambience. It’s as if the the staff and management don’t CARE.. and they’re not even listening to the guest requests. (I speak Cantonese and Putonghua so there’s no excuse about a language barrier.). DON’T BE LAZY LIKE ME, MAKE YOUR WAY TO ELEMENTS OR HARBOUR CITY OR OCEAN TERMINAL FOR A BETTER...
Read moreI was told the Muesum of had a very fun exhibit and was well worth visiting. Given a pokemon event was occurring on the same day, I made it a trip to enjoy the area, the games, the history, and the food.
To my surprise while wondering the Muesum, there was a resturant at the top floor which served Chinese dim sum, King Lung Heen. On a weekend the restaurant was packed with people from all over the world, probably enjoying the exhibits in the Muesum as well.
I ordered what looked the most tasty from the other tables and found myself with a nice assortment of traditional dim sum. The majority of the items were standard with slight modifications making them an interesting try. Instead of standard pork bun, these also contained shrimps.
Like most Dim sum restaurants, the place was Loud, busy, and crowded, and as I was lucky to sit next to a window (I waited an extra 15 min for the seat), I found myself watching many a group squeeze next to the window to take photos of the view.
Price wise it was probably a little more than a standard dim sum restaurant, but as this was on the top floor of a nice Meusum, you expect to pay for the location and view as well. For me it was worth the price to enjoy the experience.

Read moreOutrageous experience. I was shocked to find a charge of $28 per person for tea on my bill, which was applied to each of my three young children. This added a completely unjustified $84 to our total. My children do not drink tea, nor were they ever served any. When I tried to resolve this clear mistake with the staff, I was met with complete rudeness. They refused to engage in a reasonable conversation, flatly stating it was a mandatory charge and would not be removed. Forcing customers to pay for items they did not ask for or receive is a terrible business practice. We felt completely ripped off. Avoid this place, especially if you are dining...
