Upon entering the upstairs cafe located in an industrial building, you’ll see an array of imported products, wooden furniture, Japanese magazines, Mount Fuji ornaments and many other elements contributing to the authentic Japanese vibe here.
We were lucky to be seated in the tatami area near the windows. Although there were limited choices on the weekend brunch menu, we still had a hard time making up our minds as we wanted to try everything!
I finally decided on the karaage (Japanese fried chicken), which surely didn’t disappoint! The outer crispy skin contrasted the tender meat inside while the creamy tartar sauce paired with the squeeze-it-yourself lemon juice added a burst of tanginess. The side lettuce shreds topped with a generous portion of mayonnaise helped balance out the meal.
The set also included an appetizer (sesame tofu), miso soup and a beverage (50% off to upgrade to special drinks).
I got the purple potato latte, which looked dreamy with the beautiful swirls and shades of lilac. However, I was a little disappointed as it tasted like a cloud - the sweet potato flavor was very mild and it felt more like drinking fresh milk instead.

I like the Grilled Beef Shoulder Eggs Benedict, it’s quite unique and rare. Drinks are quite nice, latte is smooth and mild, Matcha latte is rich.
Highly recommend the lemon tart, it is made with meringue instead of cream, giving it a slightly charred aroma and enhancing the texture. there’s a zesty lemon filling that gives the sensation of fresh lemons, with a chewy texture. Completely different from regular lemon tarts. Definitely...
