Old school Hong Kong vibes in the perfect Kowloon setting. Happy Together Hotpot fuses the old Hong Kong nostalgia, with being a properly good hotpot.

We had a mixture of classics and also more contemporary fare. The drunken chicken soup base was really good, I had a fear it would be bitter, but it turned out to be that perfect moorish broth. We also had the coriander/century egg/fish soup base, which was not lacking for flavour and despite having a few non coriander eaters on the table, they too felt this soup base was delicious.

Some of the dishes we had included the beef/cheese ball, pork/preserved veg ball, prawn ball. We also had beef cubes, beef slices, fried fish skin, fried chicken cartilage, wood ear fungus, assorted veg and actually too many to recall!

This boutique style of hotpot obviously comes with a higher price, but rest assured that here you're getting quality. The drink choices too had a nostalgic vibe to them and for someone who loves Old Hong Kong, this was a great way to...

Rustic 1950s style restaurant. The props are cool. Especially the Super Mario retro machine.

The food is superb. Especially the wagyu. We ordered two soup bases — wintermelon chicken and satay. The homemade balls are great. Love the complementary dessert on the house!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They're really trying to help us understand what we're buying and how to make the hotpot. They tend to every request...
