I ordered a chicken burger and specifically requested no sauce. The cashier acknowledged my request, but when I received my burger, it still had sauce on it. I approached the cashier to explain the situation, and one of the staff members suggested that I hadn’t clarified my order adequately.

I believe it’s essential for staff to understand that clear communication is vital in such situations. When I explained that I had indeed requested no sauce, the staff member seemed annoyed, and I overheard her discussing it with her colleagues, implying that the misunderstanding was my fault.

Additionally, when my burger was ready, she raised her voice to inform me. I felt that her attitude was unprofessional and could have been handled more appropriately. Just felt like having fried chicken so went to Jollibee in Whampoa because I was in the area. Ordered two pieces of fried chicken with fries and a drink for HKD40. Unfortunately, they served Hong Kong style milk tea and it was as dark as coffee. The taste was super bitter. If I knew it was Hong Kong style drinks I would have got the a la carte. As for the fried chicken, the coating was damn crispier than before as stated on the flyer which I didn't notice. Honestly I prefer the fried chicken before when it wasn't so crispy but the sad people here love crispy chicken because if it is not crispy they think its not fried properly. Yes, there is KFC but my (limited) experience of the HK franchise has been pretty poor, especially when compared to the outlets you find overseas. The chicken they serve at Jollibee is the complete opposite of what you get at KFC HK: it is served steaming hot and juicy and the pieces are all a generous size.

The food is tasty but, flavour wise, it can't compete with overseas KFC. But as far as HK is concerned, I'd say this is the best you're going to get.
