One of the public universities in Hong Kong. Located just after the Cross Harbor Tunnel (coming from HK Island), making it easily accessible. The number of international students has been increasing lately due to, among many othrr reasons, the HK PhD fellowship. The University has student halls 15 minutes and 20 minutes walking distance away from campus. The Hung Hom halls at 1 Hung Lai Road, Hung Hom is accessible through the Hung Hom MTR station (the shortest route) and takes 15 minutes walk under cover from the sun or rain. 2018年11月16日，有幸去香港理工大學參加一個應界畢業典禮。 此亦是本人第一次踏足這所大學，在踏入校門的第一個印象，並無任何特別之處，皆因校園在最多人進出的位置沒有正式的校門或牌坊之類的建構物而袛以人行天橋與市區連接，看似有些雜亂而與本人心目中大學應有的風範有所不同。但當我進入了校園之後，心中的觀感便有所改變了。 當天，校方為了此次的畢業典禮作了刻意的佈置及安排，環境及氣氛都令人愉悅。典禮的禮堂算不上大，但其中的座落及佈置、編排卻令家長有一種 : 子弟在此求學，與有榮焉之感。想必，多數家長心中亦頗感欣慰。而雖然每屆畢業典禮皆進行如儀，但其中過程卻絕不馬虎。可說 : 簡單、隆重、不沉冗，當中不乏在臺上主禮者的莊嚴及博學成就。置身其中，莘莘學子與家長都可得到人生一個階段性成就安慰 ; 自此之後 ; 各自又須展開人生新的一章，明日天涯，各奔東西，各有成就。學生與家長都是其中的參與者。 在印象之中 ; 理工不是頂級層次的大學，或者此乃受到外國對大學排名的影響，但以本人當日稍微留意得到的觀察則並不儘然。校園環境及應有之設施並不比其他大學差而學園也不算細(還在擴建中)，雖位處鬧市，卻有大學的内涵，學科應有的都有。淺看校風，並無不妥。學子既能有幸成為其中一員 ; 可以看得出絕大多數都在為自己的學業而向上努力。而為了社會的人才培育，馬會亦貢獻了當中的一份力量，其中的綜合綜藝館提供了一些不錯的知識來源，令到知識的來源更為廣泛及充實，此貢獻應予讚賞。 當天有幸校園一遊，令我對該大學有所改觀亦有新瞭解，感覺有幸能入讀該大學而後出來社會之競爭力，絕不會比其他大學差。其實，别人的排名，好多時養成了自己的心魔 ; 人世間有數不儘並無讀過大學的人成為社會所景仰的成功人仕，又當如何看待呢？ 當知 :...
