Really disappointed with Tao Heung Restaurant.
Despite the new renovation and fancy “Seafood/Dim Sum/Small Dishes/Hot Pot” sign, the food quality is terrible. Everything tastes like pre-made/frozen reheated meals - both dim sum and dishes. I even saw delivery trucks dropping off pre-packaged food.
The place is mostly full of mainland tourists who just pick whatever’s closest to TST East Station. Very few locals eat here for good reason.
Don’t waste your money here.
There are way better Cantonese restaurants literally steps away with authentic flavors and better value: Jade Garden (Harbour City), Serenade (Cultural Centre), Seventh Son Restaurant (H Zentre - just 1 minute from TST East Station Exit K), Fresh Seafood Restaurant (Emperor Plaza), and 20+ other options in the area.
Skip Tao Heung. Try Seventh Son Restaurant, Jade Garden, or Fresh Seafood...
