Service was tremendously poor. Even though the raw food items were served promptly, the waiter was muttering under his breath so it was not possible to hear or understand what the items were. We ordered the fish maw soup. However, the maw stuck to the bottom of the pot and burnt. We only realised when the soup started tasting bad. When we asked the waitress if this could be the case, we were simply (and curtly) told that we should have stirred the pot in the beginning to prevent this from happening. How would we have known if they did not inform us beforehand? No replacement of that half of the pot was offered either, and we could only make do with the remaining half. We had to fill that half of the pot with unwanted vegetables as it kept boiling and splashing, and that was a hassle as well. It was extremely difficult to catch the attention of the staff for anything, be it routine soup refills or questions. We were not informed of the free dessert and drink offered after the meal, even when we were leaving.

It costs HKD$1288 for the 4pax set. Apparently, it costs HKD$1588 for the 4pax set at the other outlet down the road with different ingredients, so location matters. Service charge is not included in the HKD$1288, so great that you have to pay additional HKD$128 for non-existent service.

All in all, average food quality and extremely...

The food was good and served promptly. But the drinks took 1.5 hours. Some much longer than others. Some of the orders were wrong, and they kept trying to bring other random drinks over that we didn't order and when we show them the order history on the app (which was correct) they seemed very confused. They were extremely understaffed. The restaurant was not full though. Asked many times and it took 30mins to refill the hotpot soup as it went completey dry and was burning. We waited about an extra 45 minutes after finished eating all the hotpot for the drinks to arrive. Some took even longer. 2 of us tried to change the drink to takeaway as we were trying to leave for a long time already, but one of of them turned up in the take away cup the other was in the glass cup. So we had to wait at the restaurant even longer for that person the drink their drink, during this time we were just so bored cause it had been hours. The takeaway drink they gave us was...

Really really delicious hotpot in Tsim Sha Tsui, the food is high quality, not variable but really up to standard. It’s a hotpot in the mall so you would expect a high price in Hong Kong, around $300/pax for a full meal. Should call set for two and call some more from the a la carte menu

They have buffet line and it was impressive with good rice and side dishes.

One thing that annoyed us a bit about the services, when I asked them about the buffet line that is included in the set, they said yes, but when the bill came we have been charged for the others two people. Moreover, we ordered 2 sets menu and a la carte, when we told them to use the cash voucher from k11 mall for us but they denied as it was set menu. They could just separate the bills but no.

Well then I guess the services is not a...

First time visiting late at night around 10 pm, and it turned out to be a great experience. I ordered the set for 2 people at about 700 HKD, which is much better value than ordering items separately. The portions were very generous — two beef sets, a huge bowl of vegetables, and more. The place is located LG level. You must go down the escalator. It was definitely more than enough for two people, and everything tasted great. Really enjoyed the meal and would happily come back again! 🥩🥬

Highly recommend CouCou if you are looking for a decent hotpot restaurant. Servers were helpful. We cannot read Chinese words, but the server helped us with ordering food. They also gave up tips on what to order and the portion size. Food quality is average, but atmosphere and servers were great. We loved the hot pot and milk tea combination. Not a big fan of synthetic food like fish tofu and processed meatballs. We are still looking for a hotpot that serves fresh fish and meatballs.
