This Taiwanese restaurant is very popular amount locals. It’s for walk-in only - no reservation is taken. On a Saturday, I visited this place at 1:30pm and needed to wait for 15mins before I get a table. I ordered Fresh tomato with pork cartilage noodles. The tomato soup was slightly sweet with a rich tomato taste. The noodle had a slight chewy texture, while the pork cartilage was very tender😋 I would recommend this. My friend ordered a Taiwanese braised beef dried noodles. He liked it and the portion was pretty big (with three pieces of beef) My other friend ordered pork cartilage with scallion rice bento. It’s served with some veggies and half an marinated egg. We share two snacks- deep fried popcorn chicken and aubergine in tomato mix sauce. The popcorn chicken was very bland and not crispy enough (but it wasn’t oil). The aubergine was too oil for my taste🥲 There are two shops (next to each other) with the same decoration. 🍽️ Preserved Egg and Tofu with Dried Fish Floss 📝 Tofu is cold and very soft. It melts in your mouth. The dry floss adds saltiness to the tofu and the preserved egg gives this chewy sensation to the soft tofu. 🍽️ Signature Dishes Beef with Slobbering Dry Noodles 📝 The dry noodles comes with braised beef shank, brisket, tendon, squid ball, and meat ball. It's all in one! The briskets are marinated well, you can taste the sauce in the meat. The noodles are cooked very well, it's chewy. Sauce taste like dandan but a bit numbing. 🍽️ Minced Pork with Pork Chop Slobbering Dry Noodles 📝 Minced pork can be mixed with the noodles that is covered in the dandan like sauce. The pork chop is crispy, not dry and meat is on the sweeter side. Seems like they marinate the meat with a certain sauce before frying. The crispiness makes you crave for more.

+ve: The food is inexpensive. Neutral: The food is so-so. Not good actually, but ok-ish with the price. -ve: The service is unsatisfactory. Impatient staff (threw the menu on the desk, did not clean the table well) I think there were not enough staffs, so I kinda understand their situation (way too busy).

Brightly lit but a bit cramped so I couldn’t say you come here for a joyful meal with your friends. The foods are decent in quality and inexpensive. I have not had anything that suggested a quick second visit but I may give it one more try. Honestly this is more like a 3.5 star than 4.

The Taiwanese food is tasty and culinary delight in this area, recommend its deep fried pork chop and Benton. However, the running mouse on the side ceiling of the restaurant really scares me (saw it from the reflection of the mirror). Hope they will improve this later.

2nd visit. Tried an afternoon set which included a small bowl of dandan noodles with 3 side dishes for HKD33. Smaller portion than lunch set but it was perfect for me. Yummy foods, pleasant staff. I would go back for lunch - afternoon again. Recommend to friends too.
