Pastelaria Chui Heong — Restaurant in São Lourenço

Pastelaria Chui Heong is famous for their almond cookies and other Macanese speciality snacks. They can be found on tiny Rua do Gamboa not far from Praca Ponte e Horta on the Macau Peninsula.

Expect a queue formed outside this unassuming little shop. The line of waiting customers moves relatively quickly so don't worry if you are 15-20 deep when arriving. They will pass menus with pictures (Chinese only text) so you can see what is available and most order rather quickly.

We enjoy the boxes of almond cookies (MOP30 for 10 cookies). The almond cookies are being made fresh on location and you can watch the entire process at the shop. This is just as enjoying as buying from this particularly pastelaria.

As for the taste, there are those who swear by this place, calling it the best in Macau. They add large broken pieces of almond and they do taste good. Personally, not my favourite in Macau but Im happy to eat Pastelaria Chui Heong almond cookies when I can get my hands on them.

As I remember I have bought once before, but I really forget that taste. But look many people queue and come to buy again. I think their biscuit is good. However some of the taste biscuits haven't no stock. Just original taste have stock. ... quite disappointed.

I'm plan to arrive Macau directly go to queue by taxi , get there around 10:30, already 30 people queue. They give a no. Of ticket then you gone again go in to buy stuff. Every time just 10 go in. no. As 1-10, then 11-20... I just wait around 20 mins.

I have try this brand feel not good as other large brand. I'm not like this actually. No need spend time for queue for my opinion, but their biscuits is cheaper than other.that true, So if you want buy souvenirs for friend, price you can considering. One box...

มาดูรสชาติกันก่อน ว่าอร่อยคุ้มรอไหม : ได้ชิม อันที่ทำใหม่ๆจากเตาเลย มีความกรอบน้อยกว่าของที่เค้าขายบรรจุกล่องแล้ว แต่ก็กรอบนะ ชอบแบบอบกินตอนออกจากเตานี้นะ ร่วนๆ หอมชัด

แบบบรรจุกล่อง: กรอบแบบกรอบสนั่น อีกนิดคือเกือบๆจะแข็ง อัดอัลมอนด์มาแน่นมากจริงๆ หวานน้อยไม่ได้นมเนย มีความแห้งๆฝืดคอระดับหนึ่ง แต่รู้สึกถึงความเนยถั่วเบาๆ เค้าใส่อัลมอนด์เม็ดๆมาด้วยกรอบเค็มตัดรสดี กินกับชาร้อนเข้ากันมาก 🌟🌟สำหรับเราถ้าคำนวณเวลาได้ ควรซื้อค่ะ อร่อยดี ไม่ได้เสียเวลาเกินไป แค่กลับมาตามคิว🌟🌟

ระหว่างรอ นั่งดูเค้าทำ แต่ละขั้นตอนของคุ้กกี้ เกือบ 70 ขวบ Handmade ทำมือจริงจัง ผสมผงอัลมอนด์นำเข้าจากอเมริกาบด สเปรย์น้ำซอสแห่งความลับ(ไม่รู้อะไรเห็นเค้า ฉีด ปรี๊ดๆๆ) อัดใส่พิมพ์ เคาะ แล้วอบหรือเรียกว่าย่างบนเตาถ่านชาโคลทรงกระบอก เรียงคุกกี้ใส่กระจาดไม้ไผ่สาน ที่มีรูให้ไอความร้อน ไล่ความชื้น ยกสลับ กลับไปกลับมา ผึ่ง อบๆยกๆสลับๆ พลิก พอเหลืองทอง เอาขึ้นผึ่ง พลิก บรรจุถุง ใส่ลงกล่อง

#วิธีซื้อ : ไปรับบัตรคิวก่อนเลย เค้าจะแจกบัตรคิวกระดาษ และมีลำดับคิวที่เรียกเข้าร้านขณะนั้น โชว์เป็นป้ายไฟ และป้ายกระดาษอยู่หน้าร้านเลย และจะเรียกเข้าร้าน รอบละ 10 คิว รอบนึงประมาณ 10 นาที+/- แล้วแต่คนที่เข้าไปเลือกนาน/ซื้อเยอะ/น้อย แค่ไหน เพราะฉะนั้น คำนวณได้คร่าวๆ เผื่อมาเอาคิวก่อนแล้วค่อยกลับมาซื้อ ง่ายหร่ะทีนี้ แต่ถ้ากลับมา คิวเลยไปแล้ว เค้าอนุโลมให้เข้าได้ถ้าคิวที่เรียกผ่านไปไม่เกิน 30 นาทีค่ะ

พอถึงคิว ก็เข้าร้านไปเลือกได้ตามใจชอบ (เค้าแปะเมนู QR Code ไว้หน้าร้าน เล็งไว้ตั้งแต่รอได้เลย ไปถึงหยิบๆๆ) และ บัตรคิวห้ามทำหาย เพราะ แคชเชียร์จะขอบัตรดู ไม่มีบัตรไม่ให้ซื้อและบัตรนึงจำกัดการซื้อคุกกี้อัลมอนด์ ให้คนละ 60 ชิ้น ใครมาหลายคนอยากซื้อมากกว่า 60 ชิ้นแนะนำรับบัตรมาคนละใบเลยค่ะ

และเค้ามีขนมอย่างอื่นขายด้วย (เราซื้อทองม้วนหมูหยอง รสชาติไม่ได้อ่ะ กลวงไม่มีหมู จืดๆ)
