To Westerners, a surprising item here are savory crackers made with dried pork of various flavors. The ones made with rice crispies and pork are outstanding. There’s also whole dried fish🙃🙃🙃.
Then there’s the duck feet, being pushed very hard by checkout clerks. THEY ARE PUSHING TOO HARD😡😡😡 to sell/add it to bag. Despite my saying NO, I found it in the of crackers I bought…. No wonder why my change was 100HKD short...

There were tons and tons of shops and cafes selling these pastel de natas so I just decided to try one from this popular chain. This ranks as my #3 of the 4 I tried. It was not overwhelmingly delish but still fresh, flaky and buttery - although it lacked depth compared to Lord Stow's and Margaret's. Perhaps it was mass baked - thus it was slightly similar in taste to those regular egg tarts we get back home. Nonetheless the custard is good, creamy and still less sweet than Manteigaria's. Salted winter ginger is the main product that I always buy here. They also sell egg tarts that are quite good too. Bought some marinated goose feet and wings during this trip.
