Sei Kee Café was one of the popular street Café with long history. Brand since 1965, four branches around Macau peninsula and Taipa. Two dine in restaurants and two take away shops. This is one of the rare one away from tourist attraction area. Around 20+ seats available with air-conditioned.
You may surprise how wholesome menu they serve, from porkchop or sliced beef with omelet bun or macaroni soup with chicken fillet or sliced beef.
Their another signature dish was club sandwich with the selection filling of spicy pork cubes or corned beef or spicy tuna. All are their authentic local flavours. Pick any combination you liked, definitely will satisfy you and all.
Not to forget their must order local milk tea. Great aroma and flavourful smooth taste.
Another popular one was their take away shop beside the Taipa souvenir street 官也街 (beside Taxi stand) As a Taipa take away shop, no seats available for this branch, limited foods. Another take away shop at Macau peninsula. Most tourist customers, beside porkchop bun, their Claypot milk tea was their another signature must drink beverage. Great tea aroma with smooth blend with warm milk. Boiling in Claypot was indeed brings out authentic nostalgia taste and flavours.
Unforgettable delicious. Tourist price, but worth it for such great flavour. If you ever passby Sei Kee Café next time, recommend all to try their signature milk tea and porkchop bun. And if you have time, you should visit their two dine in restaurant branches too (1 at Macau, 1 at Taipa), trying their wholesome full menu with great local authentic Macau foods,...
Read moreA very nice location right next to Nam Van Lake. My experience was fantastic, it was the first spot that I visited on this Macao trip. For some reason this shop does not offer pork chop bun for dine in, so I picked the beef with eggs bun. It was soooooo yummy. The egg was fluffy and flavorful and you know they used high quality ingredients. I am coming back to this restaurant on my next visit in Macao. The only unpleasant thing was that a waitress dropped some things on my plate when she was cleaning the next table and I had to replace my plate (thank god I was holding my whole bun when that happened). It is a little cramped in this smaller shop, but it was ok. The milk tea was lighter than what I am used to in Hong Kong, but good in...
Read moreOrdered a beef bun + thick omelette and their iced coffee. Total cost MOP 67.
The bun they used was the polo bun type with crispy crust. What I like about it was the crust was not too sweet and the bun was so soft and pillowy.
The sautéed beef was probably not Wagyu but was just as tender but the thick omelette was rather flavour less. Perhaps the trick here would be to eat the bun, beef and egg all at one go but my mouth is too small.
Special mention for the iced coffee. Not very sweet (just right), it’s the perfect thirst quencher plus pick me up after a hot morning walk!
Lots of other good stuff here. It’s not difficult to understand how they achieve Michelin status. You just wonder what...
