Beautiful minimalistic design. Self service infused water 💧 station. Lots of seating, high chairs 💺 for babies 👶. Regular price for HK. Got flat white ☕️, which is average, nothing too special. 3/5💫💫💫 All day breakfast was nice, thought would like to have a bread/sourdough something to spread the avocado 🥑 on. 4/5 💫💫💫💫 Everything is very clean and neat. The only thing is that each table has a little stand for the qr code ordering ( which could be offered on some tray, instead of just a paper 📃 receipt ) so all the little stands are all chipped and poorly manufactured, very low quality for such a beautiful place. Also some air vents are very dirty, with full of dust. Have to be cleaned and maintained regularly. Otherwise very lovely place, beautiful views towards the city and mountains ⛰️. They have membership which can be linked to Googe Wallet and they accept coffee capsules recycling ♻️.

One of the best all-day breakfasts I've ever had in Hong Kong. Presentation was very appealing. The mushroom on the plate was just something to die for—very garlicky and sautéed in the best possible way. The potato broccoli medallion was not as good as the IKEA ones at the first bite because of their less savory taste. However, I quickly changed my mind as I chewed the broccoli pieces in the medallion. They were bigger and harder than IKEA's and I enjoyed the fresher and crunchier texture of veggies. Their dishes are definitely on the expensive side but I won't say they're overpriced because I think their excellent service and chic environment justify the price tag. I had a very lovely late evening, thank you NOC!

Update: Holy shrinkflation! At some point in the past couple of months, they increased prices AND downsized food portions. It was already low bang-for-buck even before. I might get a rare hot chocolate here from now on, but definitely not meals anymore. Avocado toast used to be two slices and now it is one (slightly bigger) slice. The scrambled egg side used to take up the whole plate and look at it now. Original review (abridged): Not a place that can do no wrong, but I came to really like it once I figured out my order. The single-origin drinking chocolate is great hot. There used to be a long line here all the time but it's calmed down.

NOC has very consistent service: consistently appalling service. Been to several of NOC branches, you get the same “I am here but really don’t want to be here” attitude from the team. It is as though a crime to visit the shop, worse if asking question. Yes I got the “how could you not worked that out yourself” look!

Had the worse servicing barista today. Rather than calling for me when I was the only person waiting for a takeaway, she kept repeating the name of the coffee I ordered, each time louder than the last. Wouldn’t it be so much easier - and more pleasant - by getting my attention saying, “ma’am, your coffee is ready..”

Mental notes: would never go to NOC again unless I am desperate for a fix where no other options in...
