Toriten The Wai — Restaurant in Sha Tin District

This is a very disappointed Japanese restaurant, the food quality if way inferior, snow crableg - salty and dry. grilled wings - over seasoned - damn salty, Veggie tempura, the oil was not fresh, frying time was no controlled. ......just to name a few.

Service was the poorest I have ever had in a Japanese restaurant in Hong Kong. No passion, not enthusiatic to serve, requested to orders what we needed, not extra food, but service hot tea, waters. change of plate, son of gun, how would I know when I need it? That what the server / waiter / waitress should observice and serve. This was disgussting. Was not happy with almost everthing.

Saw our gurest off, we went to Nha Trang for a pho. great raw beef, amazing beef balls and lovely green veggie.

Nice spacious space for a decent Japanese meal. Quality of food is good. Fresh and the variety of offering is quite wide. Yakitori is not bad, a tiny bit pricy though. The tempura was exceptionally good with the right batter. The stone rice is Korean perhaps though and the Ibsen egg was nice and added good favour.
