The pictures do a great job of showing off this pub's unique charm. The atmosphere and floor plan is conducive to smaller groups; couples on a date night would also do well here. Kitchen staff is top-notch, the burgers are great (side note: El Corral burgers are overpriced trash), the appetizers here are wonderful too.

I´ve been to this pub 7 times in the last year and I´ve only been disappointed once. My solitary bad experience stemmed from a pitcher of beer I was excited to share with some international guests of mine. The taste was way off, it didn't have enough carbonation and bite, it was akin to a lite syrup.

Before our next round, we decided to call the manager over and ask him if there was something amiss with the batch. He said that our pitcher was the last pour of the keg, and that the end portion tastes different. I'd contend that it wasn't just different, it was bad. We questioned their decision to even serve the final portion, you should offer your best and not pawn off your dregs on one unlucky table. He replied that it was up to the guest to complain about the taste and a new pitcher would've been poured. We weren't upset, nor were we demanding our money back (the six of us choked it down, after all) we were just kinda left scratching our heads in regards to that logic.

I've seen a lot of international tourists there, several of whom I presume have been poured skunky, bottom of the barrel beer. These individuals won't complain--perhaps due to a lack of Spanish fluency, or not wanting to ruffle feathers in a foreign country--and they'll leave quietly, never to return.

Sir, as a manager, sample the last portion of the keg. You know you're product, if it isn't quality then don't serve it.

I'm happy to report that the subsequent pitcher was a revelation and everybody was very impressed with the flavor and drinkability, but we shouldn't have even been given the opportunity to doubt your brewery's...

Empecemos por la entrada, tenía una reservación, pero cuando llegue no había nadie que te recibiera en la puerta, entonces tuve que entrar y preguntar a una mesera que estaba en caja, quien responde: "es esa mesa pero no se han ido, (estaba ocupada) entonces tendrías que sentarte en aquella mesa" yo vi el lugar muy lleno entonces dije bueno no hay problema, si embargo, se supone que si uno tiene una reservación es para llegar y encontrar el sitio disponible. Después empezamos con la carta efectivamente la mesera no te dice nada sobre las características de la cerveza y menos sobre la comida, Realizamos el pedido, la cerveza me pareció con muy buen sabor y presentación, si embargo la comida no llegaba, ya había pasado más de 20 minutos y nada que llegaban las entradas, entonces preguntamos a la mesera y nos indico: es que tenemos un problema con la freidora, dijimos bueno esperemos, o sorpresa continuamos esperando y nada que llegaba la comida entonces volvimos a preguntar y nos dicen ya está por salir, resulta que llegó al tiempo la entrada y el plato fuerte y primero llegó la de mi pareja y yo seguí esperando, pues nos alcanzamos a comer esa entregada y plato fuerte que incluso llegaron fríos, mientras esperamos los otros dos platos. Finalmente llegan y más sorpresa el pulpo es muy picante y no me gusta el picante como en la carta no especifica y la mesera no fue capaz de decir nada sobre el plato,( pues me Piqué has el alma). Se destaca la cerveza la mesera que estuvo atenta (no recuerdo su nombre pero tenía cabello corto mono).

El lugar se veía agradable pero, en el bar se veía el desorden por la loza sucia esto debe ser porque no tienen la forma de lavado allí mismo, deben de llevar todo a la cocina y solo hay una persona a cargo de ello. También las meseras dejaron ver una discusión en caja y para rematar la mesa se movía mucho.(estaba chueca).

Friendly staff and amazing ambiance. A place where you can talk without the music being too loud (rare find in Bogotá). The food does the job and the lighting is very low, perfect for a first date. But, it is a brewery, and a small one at that, the beer is just not my favorite and is inconsistent. Sometimes the Belgium strong has a good rich flavor and carbonation and other times it tastes like a stale lagar. I give the brewers a bit more time to perfect the recipe and this place will be growing...
