Maybe a victim of its own success? Love this place in general and have recommended to friends and family. We've probably been here a dozen times, and I would've said it was five stars. It's gotten very popular and prices are higher. On our most recent visit, we went with a friend that is celiac (allergic to gluten) so we asked our waiter what on the menu what was gluten free. The waiter unhelpfully replied "nothing", which wasn't true. There are several items on the menu that are gluten free (burrata, salad, etc), but the waiter didn't know, and didn't bother to find out. Later again we asked what desserts were gluten free, and again the waiter said "nothing". We asked if the panna cotta dessert (a dairy-based dessert) was gluten free and he said no. We pointed out that it normally just dairy, so he said he would ask the chef. He returned saying that the gelatin contains gluten (not true, gelatin derived is from animal, not from wheat). We later found out from the manager the waiter had lied and not even asked the chef. It's perfectly okay if a place doesn't have a gluten free option, but this level of poor service, laziness, and dishonesty doesn't suggest five stars. Several pizzas were also a bit raw in the center which was not like our previous experiences. Hope to see this place return to five stars, as arguably was previously best pizza...
Read moreI always seen the red containers and always wondered by this restaurant as it was always busy and finally tried pizzardi artigianale .
We were very lucky as there was no wait, but we also came for an early dinner. As we sat there they started to really get busy so keep that in mind. I have seen a big wait before. Also the service was awesome the entire time.
So we started with POLPETTE DELLA NONNA and wow this was so good. Very flavorful and cooked perfectly. Great appetizer to start!
Next we had two pizzas and mine was the PROSCIUTTO E RUCOLA. Now I have many pizzas from all around bogota and I can say this was the best hands down. The ingredients were fresh, the crust cooked perfectly. Also I liked it because it wasn’t a ton of sauce it was perfectly balanced, it really is my #1 now.
Now the dessert because when I saw the picture of the SICILIAN CANNOLI and had to try it. I was worried it would be overly sweet, but it actually was perfect and not overly sweet. Highly recommended it was just amazing like everything else we had.
So the price is it worth it for what you get. Oh yeah it is because you are paying for high end ingredients that most places don’t use.
If you want cheap with cheap ingredients then this isn’t for you. If you want high quality great tasting food then go here....
Read morevery very good. yes yes its very very good pizza. probably top 10 ive ever had. great crust (like 9/10, ive had better but this is very very good), exxxccellent tomato sauce like really good wow. also totally fair price for such a good pizza. good job people. and the wine was really really great as well (pricey though but thats to be expected for good wine in colombia)
but... you really dont have to try so hard... the place feels almost tense (not really but almost) because you try too hard for it to be "perfect". relax!! like why do you need an electric trash bin in the toilet? this aint fine dining and it doesnt have to be. its just pizza! damn good pizza even! take a Deep Breath and let yout excellent pizza speak for itself. it can!!!
