Me and my partner went for brunch to Masa 81. We first ordered 2 iced lattes, but I called it an iced latte and my partner called it an café frio. I then got a Turmeric iced latte instead. I tried to explain in my best Spanish to the woman who brought the drinks that I wanted to have an iced latte and not a turmeric. She looked at me really weird and said that it has already been made and then she walked away. Then I asked the woman whom we had been ordering with (she deserves 5 stars tho) for an iced latte instead and I got it right away. The grumpy woman who left the turmeric on the table then brought it the iced latte, she didn’t even look or spoke to me and just put it down quite rude. We got the sandwiches a bit later and it was super tasty! When I was in the bathroom I heard them say something about me whining about a wrong coffee in a very disrespectful way. Read moreService was poor and slow. We stopped by at noon for juices and dessert and found the atmosphere lively. About half the place was filled and we were seated immediately. Took a few minutes to get our ordered items, and then our sever, Jenny, never stopped my to check in on us, nor did anyone else.
We ordered mango juice, coffee and strawberry dessert. The mango juice was not good at all.
After we finished we waited a long time for our server and our bill. Instead we had to ask another staff member for the bill. Still yet no bill arrived. After waiting again for a while, we asked for our bill, yet again. After several more minutes, Jenny arrived with our bill. Coffee, juice and dessert took almost an hour!
