Service is good and very friendly, food is very good and feels like the Korean food I've tried in other countries. The two issues here: first, there is no parking there or close by, it's limited to street parking which in Bogota is to avoid; second, and this is almost a legal issue, prices seem a little over the fairness line at the beginning but while doing the check calculation they add the tax on top of menu prices, something that is supposed to be of concern in Colombia.
Let's go to the food. Appetizer was Kiosas, and of the name reminds of Gyozas that's good because it is almost the same, these ones a little bigger than the standard Gyozas but the principle, meat inside a closed deep fried wheat container is the same; a little too heavy on the oil used for frying, but good in flavor and size. My main dish was a mix of pork, squid, and vegetables, cooked in spicy sauce; that one was seriously delicious, and it is good to finally find a place where they live by their promise of serving spicy food when ordered. Quick comment: don't miss the spinach served at the beginning of the meal,...
Read moreWas craving Korean food in Bogota and decided to give this place a try. Considering this is one of the only Korean BBQ places in Bogota they should do better.
The place was completely empty when we were there... Kind of a strange feeling and it is basically the ground floor of a house. Service was awful and we literally had to yell to get her attention everytime we needed something. She never once came to check on us.
Food is decent but could be better. Kimchi was very sour and tasted like vinegar and the soy bean paste was also not very authentic. Other side dishes were ok but not very authentic imho. Pork belly was excellent and good quality, but the bulgogi was tough after cooking.
Was told the owners are Korean... They can definitely do better. I'm from Toronto where Korean food is everywhere and of excellent quality. Take note if you're going to visit.
Also there are about 3 different listings for this place on Google......

Jeyuk Bokkeum: 0/5 - Completely tasteless and bland, lacking authenticity. The addition of bell peppers and cucumbers was unnecessary.
Galbi: 1/5 - Resembled bulgogi more than galbi, thin and flavorless.
Banchan: 3/5 - Kimchi was surprisingly good.
Galbi Gookbap: 2/5 - Bland and watered down.
Ugeoji Galbitang: 3.9/5 - Surprisingly good, possibly due to packaged doenjang.
Soju: 2/5 - Served half-cold; needs to be kept colder.
Service: Slow but friendly; took 15 minutes to get attention.
Atmosphere: Awkwardly quiet no music is played. The owner declined our request for music. Conversations from nearby tables were audible.
Jjambbong (previous visit): 1/5 - Unrecognizable gochu pepper flavor, resembling habanero or...
