Hotel Charlies Place & Spa — Hotel in Bogota, Capital District

My husband and I stayed at Charlie's Place while having medical evaluations and treatment. Nelson and his staff went out of their way to be accommodating. At the outset we had no idea of the length of our stay as it depended on my medical evaluation. The Front Desk staff, Monica, Viviana, Olga Lucia, Claudia, Ivan and Miguel were always very pleasant, cheerful and helpful as was the housekeeper/cook, Maryoris. The price of our accommodations, which included breakfast, coffee and tea availability all day and laundry services was extremely reasonable. This was important to us because we stayed there 3 weeks. ||Charlie's Place ordered drivers for us when needed. The staff spoke English and did not laugh at my atrocious Spanish.||Charlie's Place is in close proximity to Santa Ana Mall which has lovely shops, a supermarket/deptartment store and several excellent restaurants. which makes it very convenient. If one does not care to go out, Charlie's Place will order meals at one's request and have them delivered.||It is also conveniently located to the weekend Tourist Train, which , at Christmas season was decorated in a charming fashion. This is my second review. My first was almost 7 years ago. Never have I been in a place that worked so hard to accommodate me or to make my stay most pleasant. The rooms are beautiful and I sleep very well on the mattress. The breakfast is delicious each morning. However, the one thing I want to iterate again is the staff that is always here.
