My wife and I had the most unforgettable evening at Storia D’Amore in Bogotá’s Zona T, and words can hardly capture the magic of that night. It was the evening I proposed to her, and this restaurant made it an absolutely perfect moment we’ll cherish forever. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere enveloped us in warmth and romance. The elegant yet cozy decor, with its soft lighting and rustic Italian charm, set the stage for a truly surreal experience. It felt like we had stepped into a little corner of Italy, right in the heart of Bogotá. The ambiance was intimate, with just the right touch of sophistication, making it the ideal setting for such a monumental occasion. The food was nothing short of spectacular. Every dish was a masterpiece, crafted with fresh ingredients and bursting with authentic Italian flavors. We savored every bite, from the creamy burrata caprese to the perfectly cooked pasta that melted in our mouths. The tiramisu, a must-try as so many have raved about, was divine—rich, indulgent, and the perfect sweet note to end our meal. Each dish was presented beautifully, adding to the overall enchantment of the evening. What truly elevated the night was the phenomenal service. The staff was attentive, warm, and genuinely invested in making our experience special. They seemed to sense the significance of the moment and went above and beyond to ensure everything was flawless. A special shout-out to our waiter, who was professional yet personable, offering thoughtful recommendations and ensuring our glasses were never empty. Their care and attention made us feel like the only couple in the room. Storia D’Amore didn’t just provide a meal; they gave us a memory we’ll hold dear for the rest of our lives. The combination of the romantic atmosphere, exquisite food, and impeccable service created the perfect backdrop for our engagement. We left feeling not just satisfied, but deeply moved by the experience. Thank you, Storia D’Amore, for making our special night one we will never forget. We can’t wait to return to...

My continuation in trying all the restaurants in Zona T is proceeding apace. Seeing as Storia has 4.8 stars, it was next on my list as I've been somewhat disappointed with some of the others in the area.
We got there before 12, before they opened. They informed us they weren't opened, but did not invite us to wait on the patio, eventhough I saw another couple doing the same.
We came back about 10 minutes later, and sat down immediately. Already the restaurant was filling up. The place is elegant, with a glass elevator dominating the rear area of the restaurant. They have multiple floors as well. In fact, the main bathroom is on the second floor.
After reviewing the menu on the phone with the QR code, I realized there wasn't anything really that I wanted. What I wanted was simple: a pasta with a white cream, no marinara for me. But all of those pastas came with seafood and I don't eat seafood. Surely an impeccable restaurant as this could and would accommodate me?
No, they wouldn't👀😳. I asked for the pepe y cacio pasta, and to v replace the shrimp with chicken. This should be easy and any restaurant manager should jump at the idea because shrimp are incredibly more expensive than chicken. Clearly my young waiter didn't understand or know this. I wasn't in the mood to fight with the manager, so I just paid an extra 13k for the chicken and they left the shrimp off. It was a great dish, but small. The chicken had a smoked grill taste and was quality. We also had another chicken dish that was really great. It came in a rich sauce with sautéed veggies and pureed potatoes.
Overall, it was delicious and...

Updated review Returned to this restaurant with some friends and this time I was disappointed with the speed of service. My above review still remains true.
Service was previously 5 stars but had to knock it down to 3 (contemplated lower).
We ordered drinks and one of our drinks they seemed to forget and we had to remind the wait staff twice before the drink finally came out. The missing drink arrived at least 45 minutes after everyone elses. We had ordered two appetizers, the empty appetizer plates stayed on our tables for almost an hour before someone came by to pick them up. We spent a total of three hours at the restaurant, and not by choice.
If you do come here, order everything on the first attempt, or else you may spend a majority of time trying to waive down your waiter to remind him of the missing items.
I'm not sure if this bad experience was the fault of our waiter, but our waiter said the kitchen was behind because they had a rush of people that came in at once.
If it wasn't for the beautiful decor and ambiance I would give this restaurant 1 Star based on my latest visit, a definite "Do not recommend".
If you do decide to try this restaurant, hopefully my experience was just a bad night (Friday night), and I hope you have an amazing...
