We looked at the rating and reviews, but the experience was far from it. Food was not that great. Service was the worst. The servers were walking from wall to wall avoiding us. We tried to wave at them to call them to our table they just waved back and kept walking around in circles. After waiting around 45 minutes for our food we finally saw a server coming to us, but made a U-turn as soon as she got to our table. She had no clue where this food was going, then she looked back and they all pointed to her to our table again. For us it was so long ago we even forgot what we've ordered. We were ready to walk out of there any moment at this point. So we finally get our food but without utensils. After getting attention of a different clueless waitress, we finally get a spoon* that should've been included with acia bowl. It was also missing the simple topping that we requested, like mango and chocolate dressing. We ordered a mango/strawberry juice on the side. It tasted like it was full of water. We ended up leaving the juice as is just like our food we couldn't finish any of it. But we sat there because our favorite nearby restaurant wasn't opening until an hour later. So there was something to look forward to afterall. They didn't clear our dishes after we've been sitting for a while. So I got up and went to one of the servers asking for the bill to pay. She told us to wait at our table. After we get the bill and pay for it, they asked us to pay for the tip in another transaction, I was shocked when our server asked us if we wanna tip them 25% I was like no maybe 10% that's all I can do. She presses in 15% and swipes my card. What a theif and they all gave us condescending looks as we walked out of the...
Read moreWhen we first got in, we weren’t welcomed with a smile or a hello. I was in a good mood as it’s my BIRTHDAY! My partner and I sat down and Jasminerlis our server decided to serve 2 people who came in after us first.
The smoothie, mango & strawberry tasted frozen and lack of taste. It wasn’t good. I don’t recommend.
I ordered the New Yorker and it came with the most toasted pieces of bread ever and fried bacon that was hard to bite into and I ordered extra because I love bacon and you couldn’t even chew it.. it was an underwhelming experience. The bread shown in the picture is the new bread they brought me. I failed to take a picture of the extra toasted bread.
I did not get the name of the lady who didn’t greet us and give us a hard time but she was awful! The worst customer service we’ve received in all of Colombia. She was going to charge me for my meal and kept trying to GASLIGHT me telling me that that in the menu it’s specifies that it will be crispy to the point where it’s hard.. I looked at many reviews before eating and the bacon on the pictures did not look like what I receive at all. If that was the case, I would’ve went elsewhere on my birthday, not set myself up.
The staff is just dry and no life in them and not apologetic. Very sad and overpriced for the amount of food you get...
Read moreSad to say that the good reviews did not ring true for me :( I honestly don’t like leaving bad reviews but it was just not a pleasant experience. The staff were dismissive and a bit rude to us and it took about 15 mins from ordering two coffees and pastries standing by the till to getting our order. Perhaps just a bad day, but did feel a little disrespectful having a staff member scoff at you. Also were directed to a table upon entering but then later being told that we couldn’t sit at the table as our order was to-go (even whilst waiting- and the cafe was not that busy). None of this was a translation issue as we both speak spanish. The cafe latte was bitter and tasted burnt, and was served in to-go cups either no napkin or ring round it so it burnt my hand when trying to pick it up. The chai latte was just sweet artificial powder and milk (no actual latte or chai tea), so feels like a rip off for 16k. The pastries were good. However, paying 35k for a breakfast that was just alright wasn’t...
