We have been to Barbaro probably 20 times, and we keep coming back even though the food quality seems to be going down and the prices have gone up. The service staff is always very friendly and helpful, but our last visit was a pretty dismal experience. My wife ordered the ribs; they had the membrane on and were served cold with some squirts of sauce. Edible but very far from nice ribs. The side salad was small and uninspired. I had a 140k t-bone ordered medium. The quality of the meat was very low; the tenderloin side was unedible. I had to cut 70% away and ask the kitchen to cook the raw part that was left. When it came back, it was medium but not tasty at all, and by then, I didn't have either wine or french fries(served cold and underdone) left, just a piece of low quality meat to chew on. We were offered free dessert that we declined and got a discount from the nice waitress but it of course didn't make up for the bad dining experience. The three stars are an overall grade; we had ribs and food that were both worth five stars and one star, it is gamble, and at these prices, it shouldn't be.
