Crepes & Waffles Centro Comercial Oviedo — Restaurant in Medellín

The single moms running this establishment are a disgrace to the Crepes & Waffles corporation. They lie about operating hours to turn away business 30 min early for a takeaway scoop while the establishment is still half full of tables. It’s a shame because the ice cream is excellent, but you can’t consume any of they won’t let you in as if security is stricter than an airport. We tried showing them how it closed at 9 while it was 8:38, and they said starting today they close at 8:30. They’ve yet to update their store information, because that was obviously a lie.

We ultimately went to the Crepes & Waffles in the food court before closing and told them of the situation. They confirmed that the cafe location was lying and being lazy. These very helpful ladies in the food court made a lovely sundae for us right before closing, which would’ve never been the case if we didn’t have to go to 4 other locations before between Santa Fe, which was out of whipped cream and raining, and the liars in the Oviedo cafe. Many thanks to the single moms in the food court. They deserve recognition from the Crepes & Waffles corporation. On the flip side, management deserves to be aware of the dubious practices being done at the Oviedo cafe.

Buenas noches. Mi nombre es Sebastián Garay. El día de hoy, 27/07, estuve en la sede de Oviedo a las 8:00 p.m. Estaba con un amigo; pedimos dos crepes, dos bebidas y un postre.

Con la comida todo salió bien, pero al momento de esperar el postre, el servicio comenzó a demorarse. Pasó media hora y este seguía sin llegar. Le pedí a una mesera el favor de verificar si el pedido se había registrado correctamente, ya que parecía que no lo habían ingresado al sistema. Sin embargo, ella nunca volvió con una respuesta.

Tenía una película a las 9:20 p.m., por lo que no podíamos esperar más. En vista de que el postre nunca llegó ni la mesera volvió a acercarse a la mesa, pedí la cuenta.

Al traerla, noté que el postre había sido facturado, así que les pedí amablemente que lo corrigieran y que, por favor, nos trajeran la cuenta con rapidez, ya que debíamos irnos. En ese momento, solo había tres mesas ocupadas en todo el restaurante, pero la mesera prefirió atender otras mesas antes que entregarnos la nueva cuenta, haciéndonos esperar más de 10 minutos, a pesar de que le habíamos pedido el favor expreso de que fuera rápido por la película.

No fue sino hasta que otra mesera notó que seguíamos esperando —ya que las otras dos mesas se habían retirado— que se acercó a preguntarnos si ya nos habían traído la cuenta. Al responder que no, fue ella quien finalmente nos la trajo.

La mesera Raquel, a quien le pedimos su nombre, ni siquiera fue capaz de entregarnos la cuenta y, para colmo, se rió mientras nos retirábamos. Es lamentable que un restaurante tan querido y reconocido como Crepes & Waffles se vea empañado por un servicio como este.

Pretty bad service, we got there before 4 tables around us and order before them even, but they (4 tables) all had their order taken care off before hand. even our drink took more than 30 mins and on top of that they were the wrong ones. since we were only and party of 2 and the other tables had more people (HENCE MORE TIPS FOR THE SERVER), they totally forgot about us; so I don't know whats worse that the restaurant doesn't pay a dignifying wage that they fight for the tables with more potential tips and/or that the servers forget about customers because of...
