Mood Roof — Restaurant in Medellín

Food was delicious, atmosphere was a total vibe. The prices are very reasonable. They have quality live entertainment and I could bring my dog up there with me. I went early because it gets super busy but when I arrived at 6 pm there was only one table.

My only complaint is that the staff is absolutely miserable and grotesquely rude. Which I would usually take more stars away for because bad service in the service industry is just insane but the food was so GOOD and the live music was fabulous so I'm still leaving 4 stars.

It's a shame that the staff is so miserable because I'd go here regularly if they were even a little bit friendly. But I have no patience for bad attitudes and the audacity to ask if I want to include service lmao 😂 My only other feedback is I wish the booths had lights because I could barely see my food which is unsettling but it was delicious...

They have an amazing happy hour from 4:30PM to 7PM: any combination of two drinks for the price of one (most expensive). So it comes to about 5€ for two drinks. The drinks aren’t diluted either. The passionfruit daiquiri is good, so is the Bella Dama, the mojito… The empanadas and arepas were really good but a tiny bit small, and the papas bravas were not that nice (looked like a bigger Colombian poutine). The service is usually pretty good but can be a bit slow if there isn’t enough staff for the number of thirsty clients. Nice views too 😊 Good deal, we’ve been back...

This is a delightful rooftop. The vibes are right, live music when we visited and a great menu to imbibe and dine!

Update to oblige owner’s request for feedback on missing ⭐️ : a few pieces of constructive feedback (1) improve efficiency of kitchen (reduce time from order to delivery of food to table) and (2) more vegetarian and better yet plant-based options (you can even partner with a local plant-based business if your chef is not equipped).
