Avoid this restaurant, unfortunately they scam their customers.

Had a really disappointing experience at this restaurant. There we're multiple things that felt scammy about this place.

We ordered the pad thai which said it came with chicken beef or shrimp and had one price listed. When we asked for the shrimp suddenly is was 1000 additional to have shrimp.

The entire menu was in colones.. when we get our bill we were told our only option was USD. I said I want to be billed in colones as that's how the menu was priced in. We we're told that wasn't an option. This added an additional 5% to our bill for the conversion rate.

Then the waiter had the audacity to ask for additional tip. I asked if the service fee was included.. he said it was. But he was still looking for an additional tip on top.

Look else where folks.. So many good restaurants, these guys deserved to be skipped...

We stopped for take out on a Saturday night and were very glad we did. We ordered Beef pad Thai and pork dumplings with two beers to have while we waited. The atmosphere was clean but quite close to the road so might not be great for an intimate dinner but I’d say it would be worth it to have a good meal. We took the food to our lodging and even after a 10 minute walk it was still delicious! We chose “fairly spicy” for the pad Thai and it was quite tasty- I would probably ask for extra pepper flakes on the side to be able to add some extra spiciness. Went to El Dragon for dinner with a friend last night and was blown away with the perfection of the food and drinks. I have been there several times and it never disappoints. Bang on flavours, freshness and quality. They outdid themselves last night! Since they opened a few years ago... they just keep leveling up! Went from excellent to perfection!
