I went to lolita on Sept 5, COVID ongoing, and I must say that they are just as great as pre pandemic.❤
If you are concerned about safety measures, they are following all required protocols, there is people cleaning tables very often (even the areas where there is no people), you can reserve a space, every single person of staff is wearing masks.
I went for brunch, something new as far as I know, and I was more than satisfied, the food (Dolce&Gelato) was delightul: beautifully plated, sweet but not too much, and very filling, perfect for Sunday brunch.
Also Lolita is pet friendly and my dog was very pleased and happy to share some out time 🐶❤
So take your face mask, reserve and venture again into this lovely place.
Read moreThis quaint little food court was a nice pit stop to grab a variety of bites. I did wish the music wasn’t what that thought we wanted to hear but musics latin@ instead. The reggeaton from the burger spot was giving us much life. Sadly the horrible sounds of Justin B or whoever was killing the vibe hard!
Anywho we tried food from three spots, tacos, patacones and a meal from the grill. The octopus tacos were so fun and adventurous. Loved the creativity just wish it was hade thicker cuts. The tostones were nicely fried. Also got a juice and “cocktail” from that same spot. The cocktail tasted like a coconut limeade only hence the “”. The food from the grill was meh. The chicharron was absolutely delicious. Sadly they filled the bowl up with bland rice and beans that taste like they were cooked in bean juice (from the can, ew) and was swimming in that soupy mess. The “dorito” chips were an odd touch that could easily be replaced with more meat. Overall it’s a great courtyard to pop a...
Read moreThe facility itself is a really cool place to hang out and eat.
However, service experience varies based on individual vendors who all benefit from the high reviews of the venue.
Avoid Cuatro y Cuarto Bar which is located in the hallway next to the gelato place (which serves delicious and affordable gelato). C y C is extremely overpriced. It’s usually empty for a reason.
I paid 19,000 colones for two flavorless chicken kebabs (los pinchos), an extremely over salted bowl of guacamole, and a margarita (supposedly a 9,000 colones for a margarona but there was no Corona).
They also took 40 minutes to create this atrocious meal. The rest of my party was able to order multiple meals from different vendors and complete them before mine was ready.
The two stars are for the venue. Cuatro y Cuarto doesn’t...
