McDonald's — Restaurant in Hospital

Eating in downtown San José is complicated. There's always a lot of people rushing all over. You can feel people just want to eat and move on to whatever they are doing. This McDonald's fits this pattern. They are fast and efficient, and even though they hit the average McDonald's standards, food is just basic. The place is usually packed and sometimes it's hard to get a table. There's also noise from the outside, and it's just not a place where you want to spend some time...

For some reason the fish burger combos are not posted anywhere so I had to ask if they even had them and they did. On the way out saw a sign for them on the table that has the napkins, mayo and ketchup on it. So if someone has a tray on it you wouldn't see it and let's face it if you're getting those things that means you've already ordered. took one bite of my Big Mac and immediately questioned all my life choices. The bun was drier than my inbox, the patty had the texture of a rubber flip-flop, and the lettuce looked like it had given up on life. The fries? Colder than my ex’s heart.

I washed it down with a Coke, hoping for redemption—it was flat. At this point, I was just drinking brown sadness.
